These work protecting that area they cover. With that said, it is better to buy the guards that are one piece per side. These ones (the 4 piece) do not protect the bridge/gap space in between the propellers and that is where I see many bends and cracks form.

Too heavy for the avata 2, ive flipped over twice turning at high speeds which never happened without it. Dont use them anymore too risky. Unless youre going to do some slow maneuvers and indoors then go for it.
