Life-Changing Fuel & Water Pump – So Easy, Fast & No Mess!
I’m honestly blown away by how much this little pump has improved my routine. Whether I’m filling my motorcycle, draining water from a kayak, or transferring diesel to equipment, this pump makes it effortless—and fast! Hands-free and spill-free: No more juggling heavy cans or risking messy drips. Just attach the hoses, flip the switch, and watch it move fuel at a smooth 2.4 gallons per minute. I estimated each AA battery set handles ~50‑60 gallons—plenty for even big jobs! Built like a tank: The sturdy plastic housing and reliable motor have held up through multiple jobs in all kinds of weather. Even when there was a bit of grit in the gas, it didn’t clog or hiccup—not what I’d expect from something this price-friendly. Compact & portable: It’s light enough to throw in my trunk or garage shelf. I love that traditional siphoning—lunging in gas—can be completely avoided. One forum user shared: "At $18 bucks… worked better than I anticipated. It beats trying to siphon things and risk getting gas in places it doesn't belong." While rechargeable batteries can get warm under heavy use, that’s easy to manage—just let them cool before replacing. The convenience factor is more than worth the minor prep. Overall verdict: Affordable, reliable, and wildly convenient. If you need a portable pump for gas, diesel, water, or oil, at this price—don’t hesitate. Highly recommend!

Leaked and ran less than 3 minutes total before breaking
Motor stopped working after 3 minutes total usage. I did a couple of 20-30 second test runs, then used it for just under 2 minutes. I paused, and everything was still working fine. When I went to turn it back on, it did not function at all. Changed batteries, same result. There's not even a click or a sign that the motor is trying to do something. Just complete failure. I knew it was cheap and not likely to last years, but I did not expect to get less than 3 minutes. I was not able to finish the job, which is worse than if I hadn't tried in the first place. Aside from that, the hose that connects to the pump itself was just a bit too large, and would not stay connected. So I had to use a combination of tape and zip ties to get it to stay on so I could use it at all. Even with that, there was still a small leak. Depending on the fluid, a leak could be a non-starter even if the motor functions. (Note: the leak slid down, away from the batteries/switch, so can not be the reason for the failure.) WHEN IT WAS WORKING, the suction and flow rate was fine. I would've been happy even if it broke after 6 months. All-in-all, I recommend staying away from this, even if they halve the price.

Not a heavy-duty tool but works exactly how it should.
Works perfectly for my needs. Good price. Good size. Flow is fast. Easy instructions. Unsure of quality over a longer period of time but only using it every other week or so to fill up my riding lawn mower so hopefully it lasts me for quite some time, and I don't see any reason it wouldn't.

A great valued, versatile pump.
Solid product for the money. I purchased this to empty out a 125 gallon pond in the backyard that accumulated rain water while constructing. It worked great and had a strong flow. It didn't seem to mind some debris either, which was surprising as I expected for it to get clogged but never did. It did need a fresh set of batteries halfway through but that's no fault of the pump, it was due to the scale of my project. So for reference, you can expect to pump around 50-60 gallons with a set of fresh batteries. One major drawback (why I didn't give 5 stars) was that the pump does not have an automatic shutoff for overheating. When I switched the batteries halfway through, they were extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY hot. I use rechargeable AA batteries, and they got so hot that the insulation wraps began to melt off. Again, this is probably due to the size job I had at hand, but I feel it should sense overheating and shut down like many other pumps. For the price, I am very satisfied with the performance, and ease of use. I hope that it lasts a few more pond water extractions.

Excellent Portable Pump – Works Perfectly!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Excellent Portable Pump – Works Perfectly! I bought this for transferring fuel and it works even better than expected. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and moves liquid quickly without any leaks or mess. The battery operation is super convenient — no cords or hand pumping needed. I used it for diesel and water, and it handled both great. Definitely a handy tool to keep in the garage or truck for quick transfers. Highly recommend!

Won’t hit the bottom of every can
This unit seems to be of good quality and pumps just fine. However, I gave it only 3 stars for 2 reasons: First, I have no idea what useful purpose the orange clip on the spout provides. I tried it in multiple vehicle filler necks, I.e., tractor, mower and truck, and I couldn’t figure it out. Instructions are useless. Second, it just won’t reach the bottom of all my 5 gallon gas cans, and it definitely won’t reach the bottom of my 8 gallon cans. Most of these cans have a curved neck, and a straight pump hits the sides before the pump reaches the bottom of all Additionally, one of my newer 5 gallon cans has a plastic sleeve in the neck that I had to punch out just to fit the pump through the hole, and then it still wouldn’t hit the bottom. Everybody is selling these, and the price was right, but I still ended up having to muscle the tanks around. I would recommend this pump only if you will only use a 5 gallon tank with a vertical filler neck without a plastic or nylon sleeve.
