A nice mix of walks from woodland strolls to moorland hikes.
Good book with a range of walks from strolls around the woods and reservoirs to walks over the moors. The West Pennine Moors is an area of moorland with reserviours and small pockets of woodland. 3 towers include Darwen, Peel and Rivington, lots of history and variety for all.

A good starter book for exploring the West Pennines
Lots of routes but not enough long walks and too many short walks for my liking. I was hoping to find some new routes but I'd already done most of the ones in the book. Great if you've never visited the West Pennine moors before though

Pocket Gem
Pocket sized gem with lots of walks to occupy me for months. Well written and described with a nice map. What would be a bonus is if the walks were available as a GPX download from somewhere so I could use my GPS.
