Bouchon is a favorite stop of mine when I'm in the area for wine tastings, and after a recent trip, I decided to indulge in some nostalgia by ordering a copy of this cookbook. Beautiful and Practical
Another amazing cookbook set by Thomas Keller. Great recipes in both books; savory and sweet. The ones I have tried so far have all been successful. Received many compliments. The photos are spectacular. It is great to see what the end product should look like. The books also contain practical guides, instruction, measure and charts to help you along your way - and trouble shooting. Some recipes are more for advanced cooks - but easy to follow and definately worth the time & effort. I would recommend to anyone.

Thomas Keller the name says it all
Another great collection from whom I consider the greatest chef. Yes the recipes are detailed and seem long but Chef Keller is not a short order cook. It may take several days to prep items, let sit over night and take another step. Actual time is only 30 minutes but it is spread over 3 days. You can't rush quality and quality is what Chef Keller is all about. If you love cooking and want to show the art this is the collection for you.

Classic “Must Have!” A treasure!
Reading these books with total pleasure. Learning so much! Consider these two books one of the best in my entire collection of books. Don’t even want to call it a cookbook, it is so much more than just a cookbook, more like a Gourmet Cooking Class!

Outstanding chef and instructions
The book has beautiful photographs and wonderful recipes. I have put dozens of post-it flags on many pages of what I want to cook. My husband, who is an extremely picky eater loves everything that I cook out of Thomas Keller's cookbooks. I would love more of them! Thank you very much!!!

Varsity Level Play - Experience Required
Not for the timid. But gorgeous books with recipes that a home cook can *mostly* pull off with skill, practice and dedication. Don't start here though. Ad Hoc at Home is the introductory level course. This is intermediate "Varsity level play", with a few ringers included to remind you that you are not a Three Star Micheline chef -- so settle down. As for Keller's "The French Laundry" (and a few of the recipes in Bouchon) -- no. That's just for looking at by mere mortals.

Great for my cook books collection
Thomas Keller confirms (if necessary....) by these friendly cook books that the best is not the in the more complicated and expensive recipes. A great "Grazie !" from Italy.

Genialer Koch - geniale Rezepte. Nicht unbedingt einfach nachzukochen, aber in allerbester Weise inspirierend. Aber schließlich handelt es sich um den Drei-Sterne-Koch Thomas Keller.
