First time in 10 years i have slept without zolpidem !!!!
OK this is incredible. Had it for 2 days and slept right away without medication, having been on zolpidem (stilnox) for 9 years ! I want place a commentary. I started having sleep problems in my thirties, at 40 they got worse and i started taking zolpidem (stilnox) which eventually solved the problem at the expense of strong addiction to the molecule. When i turned 50 my sleep degradated, slept very little, and nedded higher doses of stilnox. I tried several techniques that eventually worked at least to reduce quantities of medecine and improved my sleep a bit but I still had fragmented sleep and every effort to reduce the quantity of zolpidem would work a bit and got back to higher dosage. I eventually went to a sleep doctor 1 month ago and he gave me mirtazapine to help tapering of stilnox. It worked for a few weeks and i was on little dosage of stilnox. But with ups and down, for the last week i needed more stilnox. That was until i received the red Helight light. My wife went to her doctor and she told her about it, so i bought it. I received it two days ago, and since the first day i slept with no stilnox. Las night i went to bed at 10:30 pm, woke up at 4:30 and felt completely awake, I put the light again, fell asleep and woke up at 10AM this morning ! Since I got it 2 days ago it is the first time in 10 years i sleep with 0 zolpidem. I am still under mirtazapine, but I felt an immediate change in falling asleep and staying asleep. I don't know if it will work for long but it is an incredible result. If any of you know what zolpidem sleep medication is, it is extremely addictive, very hard to get off and it alters the quality of sleep. I am very grateful to have bought this device. For those who have addictions to sleeping pills, this probably can help when used with a proper medical strategy to get you off of it.

It works!
So I am not sure really how this works but I’ve got to say I am impressed. I have been using this simple device for two weeks and I have yet to see it turned off. Somehow, I am falling asleep definitely within the 28 minute period. While I was somewhat skeptical, I was willing to take the chance even though it seemed expensive for a simple LED light. I have struggled for years with sleep. I will try anything if it will improve my sleep quality. From everything that I have tried in the past, from pillows to sound machines, this thing seems to work. Every morning, when I wake up, I am shocked once again that I went to sleep in a reasonable timeframe without seeing this turn off. While it may not make you stay asleep, I feel that it certainly puts me to sleep quicker.

Stopped working after 2 months - company did not refund or even respond
My device stopped charging after only two months and so far the Helight company has not responded to make it right. I tried to get a refund through Amazon and was directed to talk with Helight, which I did. They then directed me to their website and I have not received any response. Bummer.

Best purchase I’ve made in years!
I rarely write reviews, but I’m such a fan of this device, I feel compelled. I don’t know if this will work as well for everybody, but I absolutely love it. I’ve had it for two weeks now, and I’ve already ordered one for my son. I’ve tried a few things over the years to help with sleep. I can usually fall asleep fairly quickly on my own, but I wake up in the middle of the night and sometimes have trouble falling back to sleep. Also, I feel tired pretty much all the time, and I’ve wondered over the years if it’s because the quality of my sleep is just not very good. I even had sinus surgery a few years ago, and it didn’t help. So while I hoped this little light might be helpful, I can’t say I believed that it would make such a difference. I actually thought the red light might be alarming, making it harder to sleep. What I found on night one is that the red light is actually soothing. It makes me feel like I am lying on a beach in the sunshine. After the first week, I felt like I was falling asleep almost instantly. But the thing I’m most excited about is how I feel in the morning. I genuinely can’t believe it. I’m waking up before my alarm goes off, I have energy, and I’m not dragging during the day. I am SO glad I bought this, and I hope that it helps others as well!

Expensive little light, some quirks, but seems well-made.
Very expensive, but one of the only lights with a sunset-type mode. Considering how simple it is, it's a very, expensive little led light. That being said it seems well made so far. I like the usb-c charging. It doesn't come with a travel case, which should be included at this price point. A soft-shell, protective case for travel would have been nice. There's also nothing to prevent the side button from getting clicked/pushed when youre traveling with it in your bag or suitcase. Hard to say if it helps sleep yet. Any ritual that helps you wind down at night it good. There's a chance the light is helping me get to sleep. Not sure yet. We'll see how long the battery lasts. Right now, I charge it weekly and it lasts just fine. Could probably let it go longer. I don't recall the instructions mentioning how many "sessions" it's good for before you have to charge it, but I'll check.

It really works
My wife and I don’t understand it but it works. Took us a few days but then boom! We use it every night when we’re going to go to sleep and it works. Deep healing sleep and quickly.

I’ve been using the Helight red light therapy lamp for just over a month now, and I can honestly say my sleep has noticeably improved. I fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer without waking up multiple times during the night. The warm red light feels calming and relaxing , it’s become part of my nightly routine. I simply turn it on before getting into bed, shut off all other lights, and let it run its 28-minute cycle. The light shuts off automatically, which makes it super easy to use. It took about two to three weeks before I really noticed consistent changes, but now I can definitely tell my body starts winding down naturally when I use it. I also love that it’s compact and rechargeable, perfect for travel. If you struggle with sleep or want a more natural way to relax before bed, I definitely recommend giving this a try. It’s been a simple but effective addition to my nightly routine.

Sleeping through the night has become a dream, since getting the Helight. Falling asleep was never a problem but staying asleep was difficult. The 28 minute cycle has changed my life. Went from 20 mins of deep sleep to 1.45 hrs -2.5 hrs a night. Highly recommend.

Truly, all good things need a bit of time. Helight definitely falls under that category. In our case, it only took 3 nights. The first night? Admittedly strange, the intensity of the light took some getting used to, brighter than expected, almost like a tiny sunset on your nightstand. But by night 3, our restless minds finally found their off switch. Sleep wasn't something we chased, it came to us like an old friend. SO before reaching for pharmaceutical sleeping aids with their side effects and morning fog, give Helight a try. Give it a try. Let it work its quiet magic. Your sleep-deprived self will thank you.

I was skeptical at first but I figured anything to help with my sleep as I was having so many problems. I’ve been using since Christmas and I’m dreaming again, getting in REM sleep. I don’t remember the last time my sleep score on my watch was above 50 and it’s constantly 75 or higher. I haven’t changed anything else in my routine and I live a fairly high stress life.

This should get a zero. The seller refuses to respond to refund requests. This thing is cheaply made, flickers and shuts off randomly before 28 minutes and this red light is the exact same as the red light govee uses for red. Much cheaper to buy a govee bulb.
