Don't really write reviews
Did a ton of research after returning a scope from a different manufacturer that was cheap-ish (~$150 range) to understand why it really sucked at focusing on anything that was more than 100 yards away. We live in downtown Miami and wanted something for ship / boat spotting on Biscayne Bay and the initial purchase couldn't focus on anything >100 yards. After getting educated a bit on the types of glass... there are "classes" of quality that make a big difference. While this model didn't have any reviews, I watched one of their YouTube videos on their binoculars "ED" glass and decided to take a chance on this model b/c it was on average ~$150 less than the class of scopes that offered ED glass on their models. I can only comment from our experience with this one that we are ecstatic with the clarity at looking at ships / boats that are more than 1 to 2 miles away. We love this unit. It was a great experience unpacking it as it was kinda like an iPhone with their packaging detail and documents. The unit has that high-quality feel to it based on the materials, knobs, etc. Anyhow, I would recommend this wholeheartedly based on our experience for what we use it for (ship spotting in the bay).
