Years ago I destroyed the crystal of a different (luckily inexpensive) watch like this, and it had nothing to do with the caseback not being aligned with the stem, it was simply so tight it was like trying to press in a bearing by hand. Really didn't want to drive all the way to a jeweler just to put a stupid watchback on. This worked like magic, and comes with all the tools you need. After assembly, the caseback was on in literally 3 seconds with no damage to the watch. Use the included plastic wrap, it prevents the caseback from turning. The press is very well made and I like that it comes in a big sealable bag so once it's put together you don't have to disassemble it again, just pop the whole thing in the bag with all its accessories. I won't use it often, but it's a godsend when you need it. Super easy to use. It's ridiculous that one would need such a thing to me just to change a battery but it is what it is I guess.
