Do not trust the 256GB capacity claim on this drive. After experiencing corrupted files, I ran a full diagnostic using H2testw (a standard storage testing utility), and it confirmed the drive is defective and misreporting its true physical size. Here are the exact results from the software's write/verify pass: Claimed Capacity: 256 GB Data OK: 640 KB (less than 1 MB) Data Lost / Corrupted: 87.8 GB Write Speed: 12.7 MB/s (Extremely slow) The internal controller misreports the size to Windows, so your computer thinks the space is there. It will let you copy large amounts of files, but once it hits its actual, tiny physical limit, it silently overwrites or drops the rest of your data into a black hole. You won't know the files are missing until you try to open them later and get an error. Do not risk your data on this; stick to established name brands. Slow write speed, lies about capacity and rewrites on itself corrupting all data. Unfortunately I lost data, I didn't know till years later. Cannot return wanted to save others from my failure. Warning! Do NOT buy! Stick to reliable brands!

I love this flash drive! It is solid and sturdy and impossible to break unless you do something very drastic with it. It works flawlessly and I have not experienced any issues with it. Ton of storage space and it also looks pretty cool on my key-chain. Definitely a fan of this one and will be buying more in the future.
