Some of the acrylic pieces have to be individually moved after fitting the pendant because they move inside the lower metal rings but it's a minor issue. **Q: Can it be used with a ceiling pendant for screw bulbs?** A: Not really sure what you mean. It doesn’t matter if you have batton or screw in bulbs. With the bulb out you unscrew a circle and place the shade on. Then screw the circle back. Then put the bulb back.
