So comfortable and warm
Fabulous boots for my 8 year old grandson. The UK size one fitted perfectly. Fur lined feels luxurious and the thick tread should ensure no slipping. He loves them! A quality product.

An excellent boot and priced right
I'd tried several brands of wellies to date, and had been bitterly disappointed in them all. The worst were a pair of new Hunter Wellington boots. They weren't especially comfortable, but with an insole were fine. However, almost a year into owning them (dog walking and occasionally helping at the dog rescue centre in the rain) I noticed my right foot was wet one day. On inspection, I found the seam attaching the sole to the upper had split. Since they were still quite new but out of warranty I bought some diving grade waterproof glue for dry suits from Amazon and fixed the problem. This was excellent stuff BTW. Annoyingly, yet another leak appeared shortly after fixing the first. Then, lo and behold, the other boot developed several splits in the rubber along the side and on the instep rendering the pair of Hunter Wellington boots useless. While all of this was happening to my Hunter wellies, my wife bought a pair of Hunter wellies from a different store only a month prior to when my own Hunter wellies developed the first issues. Within six months, my wife's Hunter wellies began having similar issues Hers developed leaks and faults on both boots, they now both let water and hers are also useless. Lesson learned - DO NOT BUY HUNTER WELLINGTON BOOTS BECAUSE THE QUALITY AND DURABILITY IS APPALLINGLY BAD. After browsing what my options for boots were on Amazon, along comes a suggestion for the Dunlop Blizzard wellies. So, I bought them through wardrobe because of the enhanced return policy. The moment I slipped them on it felt like I was wearing house slippers. The fit was precise, comfortaable, and as expected. Unlike some wellies, the fit is so good that they don't flop around too much when walking making them tiring to wear for long periods. So far, they're durable, hard wearing, and overall, they are far better than the much more expensive Hunter wellies. If I wanted to be picky, the sole is a tad thin when walking over the knobbly surfaces, but a memory foam insole has solved that very minor issue. Overall, the Dunlop Blizzard wellies are highly recommend. My wife and I are both very pleased with the boots, they're waterproof, warm, and comfy - exactly what is expected. If you try the Dunlop Blizzard boots for yourself we believe that you will find them as good as we have found ours!

Comfortable.
Comfortable, warm, good grip. The mud on the sole of the boots washes off and does not stick in the tread, unlike other boots I have had.

Brilliant wellies
First off, I hate wellies in general - with a passion. However, I had to give in and get some due to the yard I work at being flooded. I looked around for some that looked like they wouldn't flop around like cheaper ones do. For me these were well worth the money over spending £10 on cheap ones. I've been up to the material part of the boot in water with no leaks, I'm on my feet all day always moving and so far there are no cracks or holes. The grip is great and they're not flimsy - i can still bend my feet to drive in them ok but they're sturdy enough for my feet to feel relatively safe around horses. I've also hopped on a horse with them as I forgot my riding boots and they're flexible enough to have feet in the stirrups (the tread didnt get stuck but i dont recommend riding in wellies of course!) I love that they fit snug around the leg (they're adjustable) which keeps them warmer and stops them flapping around. I have always found wellies to be too loose and wide in the foot so they rub - these fit snug but not too tight and so far haven't rubbed. Compared to my colleagues wearing normal wellies, I never complain that my feet are cold - they're nice and insulated but not so hot that they're really sweaty and there's some bounce to the sole that makes them feel supportive and comfy underfoot. I'd highly recommend them so far.

2 stars Unsuitable for country walks
Whilst being warm and seemingly well made, for me they were wholly unsuited to country walks. Unlike the basic green wellie (about £8) the sole is too thin and lacking in reinforcement. Every stone is feel-able on the sole of the foot unlike the basic green boot whose sole is much thicker and more rigid. Great for the garden, poor for anything else

Sole wore out after two months of light use.
Bought for my half hour daily dog walk in the winter. Wore them on the few rainy days between April and May two months and then put them away for the summer. So they had perhaps done 15 hours no more of use. On my feet. This winter I got them out for the first time in March on a rainy not icy day and went walking in them for half an hour with my dog. Was sliding about all over the place. My bare feet on my Lino floor grip better. I turned them upside down and the sole was worn smooth. These boots are advertised for working in. How? They have no safety features like steel toe. I would also hate to see their condition after all day use on say a building site. Probably have a sole in holes. Contacted the seller who tried to refuse my refund due to ‘normal wear on the sole not covered.’ 15 hours isn’t normal wear they should last longer than that. I went to this website and they told me to return them after reading the seller’s comments. They are warm, only comfortable with a sports shoe insert in the base and grip well when new. But so do a pair of wellies that are new, a fraction of the price and worn with thick socks and an insert. This is my second pair of these to wear prematurely for the same reason in the same space of time dog walking. So in conclusion I would save your money, search for a pair of wellies at a fraction of the price, get them a size bigger and use a pair of thick three tog socks with them. Do exactly the same job and even with the cost of the socks would still be nowhere near the cost of these.
