The magnetic battery system was used on the 2 headstrap. Now the battery lasts longer and is still easy to swap w/o removing the headset. The built in fan is awesome! For me the halo style strap works best and is very comfortable. It has a wide range of adjustment and is easy to change with the big know on the back. Charging the batteries and swapping them to the charging pad can be accomplished in pass-through w/o taking off the headset. Battery charge level on the pad is easily viewed on the front panel. I'm glad I bought the improved 3 system instead of retrofitting my 2.

I love this head strap — it’s very comfortable and well-made. It even includes a built-in fan, which I rarely use, but it’s a nice feature to have when things heat up during longer sessions. Excellent quality for the price and a solid upgrade overall.

After many people recommending this strap I decided to give it a try. Then I found this bundle deal that gave me what I needed and saved me a few dollars. It was a good choice and fits very well and is very comfortable. One thing, if you order this charger, it only comes with the cable and no power supply. If you want to quick charge more than one battery you will need to supply a 100w USB C power source.

100% more comfortable. 100% playtime. Charges as fast as discharges, so you can play unlimited. Very comfortable. The fan is quiet unlike some people might claim. Don’t even know it’s on if you have volume coming from the headset. Charging stand works well. And displays info you probably don’t need, but is cool to have so you know it’s working.

This headset is amazing! Since I've bought it for my Quest 3S, I have not had to charge my headset directly. The battery magnetic hot swappable design makes it so easy to recharge, that you don't need to look. Not to mention the fan. At first I saw it as a gimmick. But let me tell you... I cannot use the headset anymore with out that fan at FULL BLAST!!

I'm very happy that Bobovr came up with this headset. It is very comfortable and with their new battery it really extends to amount of time you can spend in VR. Only minus is that the fan doesn't actually move any air inside the Quest 3 itself. It isn't able to prevent fogging of the lenses.
