Amazing
Absolutely love this light.

Works great in low light or at night!
I own a dive shop and recently disco tiled a whale and hung it up above the point of sale. I purchased this light and shine it on the white wall at night. It’s not bright during the day but at night, it looks incredible.

Love this projector
A little expensive but worth the price. I only wish it were a smart light

Very expensive and very much worth it.
At full price, this is the single most expensive single outdoor decorative projector light I've obtained, and I've acquired a lot. But it is the most ruggedly built unit I've installed, with performance than matches its build. Given the sheer light output that is available from it, I'm not surprised the housing is also one large aluminum heat sink. Though LED's run cool compared to comparable incandescents, when the light output is great, as with this unit, LED's also can generate substantial heat, and this definitely does so at its maximum 150w output--but manages much of it via the large metal housing. Of course you can dial back the light output for illumination of a single fountain, or dial it up to cover the side of a house or a large expanse of yard or garden. Unlike many outdoor lights, this can span a considerable coverage unit without apparent fade. I very much appreciate that the light output, timer, colors and modes are all adjustable via remote control. Phone apps can be appealing at first, but their communication connection can be fickle, and it can be just as much of a hassle to be scrolling in search of the correct app as it is to discern the correct remote. In this case, the remote is dedicated to this light, and is easily distinguishable from the others. I keep all the outdoor remotes corralled together in an extra coffee mug. I find most of the modes unappealing. Perhaps if you are conducting a Rave you will find the combination of breathing and flashing to your taste, but most of the 10 modes are distracting and will draw the ire of your neighbors--18x fast flash, really, So of the 10, less than half of them are ones most will consider. Of course you don't have to use any modes you don't want, but I just want to make clear that having the potential for 10 modes, doesn't mean most will ever avail themselves of the full ten modes. But some of the modes, displayed with the power and range this light can provide them, are really quite striking, yet also soothing. They can create a powerful enveloping ambience that few other lights can, or even try to, achieve. In the back yard, they can provide a mesmerizing appearance; in the front, they can establish over the entire yard and/or house a theme look for Halloween and other holidays. A single light is sufficient, but I suspect dual lights will illuminate every cranny and be spectacular. I hope these lights will remain available through Amazon for a very long time. I suspect very long life from such a well constructed light, but I won't know its true longevity until it stops working. When that time comes, I am sure I will obtain another one.

Almost Great
I have several of the smaller plastic water ripple effects that I use throughout the house, but I was drawn to this one because of its 150 watts of power. The light is built like a tank, with an all-metal casing and yolk. The casing is a giant heatsink, so there is no cooling fan, which would be typical in a light of this wattage (a cooling fan would make the light vulnarable to water, which is why it uses a heatsink rather than a fan). I haven't tested its weather resistance, but it looks like it is built to the standards of other IP65 rated lights that I have. I own a number of professional lights, and everything about this light's construction is up to the standards of these professional lights--except the control features. As advertized, it comes with a typical RF remote that is common to these RGBW effects lights, but given the quality of its construction and the price point, a light like this should have come with DMX connections and controls--without them, this light is restricted to home and amateur use. The water ripple or fire effect is the same that comes out of the smaller units I have, but the intensity and throw is orders of magnitude better than the smaller cheaper units. From about 20 feet, it lights up the entire back of my house. I took off a star because the instructions are inscrutable, and they refer to a flashing blue light that does not seem to exist on the unit I received. Also, coming out of the back of the unit is a black wire with some kind of terminal on the end. I have no idea what this is for, none of the photos in the listing show it, and the instructions make no reference to it (the poor instructions and this mystery wire is why I removed a star). If you are using this to light up your house or pool, or indoors for a party, this is a high-quality light that operates as advertized, but it falls just short for professional use (however, to be fair, the listing doesn't talk about professional use, so my rating isn't impacted by it not having certain professional features). The price to quality ratio for this projector light is very good.

Falsely Described. Light is only 25 watts, not 150 watts as described.

Functional but don’t expect to be wowed
It works and the effect is decent, but it’s pretty basic overall. The effect would look a lot better if you had control over the animation speed. The colors are your extremely basic red, blue, green, and white LEDs, so any colors in between look extremely unnatural as you see overlapping patterns of the pure colors rather than a blend. The remote has a really short control distance. The difference between the lowest brightness setting and the maximum brightness is pretty small. When I measured the power draw, it was somewhere around 20 W, which at least makes it fairly economical to run. Gotta say though, the casing is the most legit part. Metal with lots of heat sink, though the amount of heat sink isn’t really necessary at this wattage.
