Works great to replace broken or worn case
The product is as described by the seller. It was promptly delivered, and was of reasonable cost. It is fairly simple to put together, the only issue may be when you replace the blank key with your existing key. Some of the original Equinox keys may extend further back. These are easy fixes, and there are several you tube videos out there to help. Or you can simply take it and have the new key laser engraved.

2010 Camaro
It worked out for me with a little patience and more importantly the new cover. My 2010 Camaro fob basically disintegrated and I needed a replacement. My chipboard was still good so I swapped it over to this shell. There’s a good YouTube video where the guy explains how to do it thoroughly. If this is your situation have a set of very small screwdrivers and about 15-30 minutes of patient tinkering. I also used the same key blade from my original to avoid the dealership charging me for a cut and program. Good luck!

Didn’t work out for me.
Bad idea to try to switch key fobs on my own. The Chevy key fob is extremely hard to get into. I ruined something on the chip board. My old fob is destroyed, my new fob only works on the alarm and door lock. Not on the open button.

Fob case swap info!!!
If your buying this to swap your oem parts into... it will half way work. Chip fits fine, but the oem key will not. Just put your chip in it and go have the key cut. Save yourself the time, its not worth modifying the plastic to make your cut key fit. Other than that its a good buy!

We Were Hopeful
Unfortunately this did not work for us. I had to call a locksmith to get my daughter a key made and programmed for her Chevrolet Cruze. Her key fob had developed a hole. It still worked, but you had to insert your fingernail or other small object inside the hole to engage the button. I was told that car manufacturers have their key lock systems protected for security purposes and to get you to buy their products. In our case, the locksmith was cheaper than the dealership.
