Beautiful and bold writing utensil. Base has some weight to hold the material showing off the intricate details of the pen. It arrived in lovely packaging and wrote eloquently right out of its packaging. Refills easy to fine!

I love the smooth flow and sophisticated look of the pen. I spend a lot of money for great writing instruments. I would include this beautiful pen as one of them. The stand that holds the pen is solid and can also be used as a desk weight.

This ARTEX deluxe pen comes beautifully packaged in a box. It looks opulent with the filagree cap, the Indian lotus scrolls on the barrel, and the black marble base. The ink comes out smoothly and doesn't clot so it writes very well. Also nice is that an ink refill was included. It's pretty heavy, so if you use for a long period of time it might give your hand some fatigue or cramping. If it were made of gold or silver instead of pewter and brass the high price would be more acceptable. I got this as a Christmas gift for my husband. Sitting on his work desk, he uses it to sign documents and write short notes. He likes this pen.

This was a gift to one of my granddaughters who recently received her degree in education. She loves it.
