Overall a good scope
I have low vision thus the optics quality is less important to me that overall construction and reliability. I use this at 32 power and have had no significant problems. I do shoot a .243, thus I have no idea how much recoil it can stand. The optics seem fine. I have more expensive scopes, but this one seems well worth the money. I did notice once that a small windage adjustment did not "take". The grouping remained the same. However, when I brought it out on a second trip, the windage was then correct. This makes me think that the jostling of putting the rifle away caused the crosshair to move as I had sought. It seems that they may have stuck initially. The aim seems true when magnification is changed. This is not always true with less expensive scopes, particularly those of higher powers. Faced with hundreds more for a "higher quality" scope I expect to purchase more of this model.

fiasco
I received my product in a timely fashion, thats where the "fiasco" began. I opened immediately only to discover the vertical cross hair torn. I called and got an immediate answer. Return it I'll repair it. I did so, but my point is this. I now own and paid for a refurbished scope as opposed to a new one. My laments to Swift about it fell on deal ears. My point is simple why should I be charged full price for a product that was repaired before I ever had use of??? Shouldn't it have been sold as used and refurbished???? Big Bright Beautiful ONE significant problem.. READ
The GoodHave done a lot of shopping for a varmint scope, swift optics cannot be beaten for the value vs. the clarity of their optics. Brightness and clarity is better then the Nikon I compared it to, but didn't have Leupold to put it next to. Ridiculously overpowered, clear scope zero'd quickly and held zero (only .223). Comes with sunshade, turrets are smooth as silk. Has a lifetime warranty. The BadAdjustment is only in 1/4 MOA (not 1/8) and the scope is actually Korean (Korea stamped on the tube). The UglyThe reticle was offset approximately 3.1 degrees counter clockwise (yes I measured, but being offset from the tube I had to eyeball it). Not a huge issue but enough to notice, and is doesn't flatter their Korean QC.In all, great scope and significant quality issue still isn't enough to call for warranty of exchange... best $250 scope that you can buy.
