Better than I hoped for! Easiest Install Ever. Stable, good performer. Glad I bought it.
This has exceeded my expectations and hopes. Image quality is very very good. Auto tracking works very well. Does well in all kinda of light. Most importantly it does all this in a VERY small space. It's hardly even noticeable. It sits on top of a 49" monitor, with two other monitors mounted above it, and there is only abut 3" height were a camera could go. I didn't expect to like it this much. The picture quality is really crisp and clear. The auto tracking works very well, so I can shift around in my seat during those insufferably long meetings and it just keeps me centered on the screen. If i have to walk to the bookcase, it tracks me there also. I can use it through a KVM, switching between my work and home computers and it just takes that all in stride.

I absolutely love this webcam!!!
I’ve been through my share of “1080p HD” webcams that claimed to be amazing and then made me look like I was broadcasting from a potato. The OBSBOT Tiny 2 Lite is the first webcam I’ve owned that actually delivers what it promises, and honestly it feels like jumping several generations ahead. First, the picture quality: stunning. This thing is 4K and it shows. My video is sharp, clean, and bright even in less-than-ideal lighting. I don’t look washed out or grainy anymore. My coworkers literally asked me if I got a new lighting setup — I didn’t. It’s just the camera doing work. Autofocus and tracking are next-level. The AI auto-tracking follows my face and keeps me centered when I move, turn, lean, grab something, etc. I don’t have to constantly readjust or sit like a statue. It feels like I have my own tiny camera operator instead of a regular webcam. If you present, teach, stream, or just talk with your hands a lot, this is such a win. Low light performance is honestly shocking for this price range. I can be in a dim room and it still looks like I’m in a decent studio. No ugly noise, no weird green/blue tint. It balances exposure so my face is clear without blowing out the background. Setup was ridiculously easy. Plugged it in, my PC recognized it immediately, and I was live in a minute. The software gives you extra control if you want to fine-tune framing or tracking modes, but you don’t have to be a “camera person” to use it. Physical build: it feels solid and premium. The pan/tilt movement is smooth, not jerky. It magnet-mounts and positions easily. This doesn’t feel like a cheap plastic webcam you clip on and pray. Now let’s talk price, because that’s part of the story. I wanted the top-tier OBSBOT model, but that one is over $1000 and that’s just not happening for me right now. So I went with the Tiny 2 Lite at $159 — and I’m not exaggerating when I say I feel like I got pro-level quality at a normal-human price. It doesn’t feel like a “budget” version. It feels like the smart version. Pros: 4K image that actually looks like 4K Auto-tracking that keeps me perfectly framed without me babysitting it Great in bad lighting Super easy plug-and-play setup Looks/feels like high-end gear Cons: I do wish some of the higher-end features from the flagship model were included, but those live in a webcam that’s literally over $1000, so… I can live without them The price ($159) is more than a basic webcam, but after using it, I think it earns it Bottom line: If you’re tired of looking blurry, washed out, or dull on camera and you’re not in a place to drop rent money on the full OBSBOT studio rig, get this. The Tiny 2 Lite made me look instantly more professional and more “put together” on every single call. It’s the best upgrade I’ve made to my setup in a long time, period. Highly recommend.

The Lite does pretty much what the other does
It's hard for me to see really any measured differences between the "Lite" version of and the full version that is $100 more. This has been a lot of fun to play with since taking it out of the box this week. It's got all the features you would need/want. 4K resolution. Cool tracking features. Great quality. In fact, in most cases you probably won't even need the 4K, so it might be overkill unless you using it to film something. I have heard people say the built-in mic isn't the best, but the plan for me is to incorporate this into my podcasting setup, where I have a dedicated mic, so it really doesn't matter. I know the mic works well enough for quick video chats with my daughter at college, so I'm not to concerned about it. The only issue I have been having is I have yet to figure out how to get the effects that work in its own software to work with Facetime. A big selling point of the camera was those effects worked seamlessly with Facetime and other 3rd party platforms. Not so much, so far. I have watched YouTube videos. Mades sure all the permissions were given to it in my settings. Still will not work. with Facetime on the retouching options. everything else seems to work fine. I think for what this camera does, the Lite version seems like an incredible value. Would recommend.

Lasted 2 years then.... kept on working! No Complaints!
Great product for the price! Two years in.... Still working just fine. Yes its "crashed" a couple times (3x in 2 years), but replugging it corrected the issue immediately. I dont know about Zoom support etc as I used this as a streaming camera, worked with OBS and NDI flawlessly. Love how it tracks me around as I game/move. Was plug and play, the software grants a lot of customization as well as a software interface to the camera itself, no need to handle it... And now... back to my stream.

High end Video Web Cam with AI functionality
The OBSBOT Tiny 2 is indeed tiny and a powerful webcam for professional presentations, recordings, and even for use as a content creator on YouTube. The price may seem steep for something this small; however, this camera delivers on several fronts while failing to provide in other areas. Right out the box, you get a camera and a cable, making setup as easy as plugging this into your computer and downloading the OBSBOT app family (There are several, but the one you really need is the OBSBOT Center - formally known as OBSBOT Webcam). Once you are up and running, you can connect UVC to any platform that allows you to take in video feeds: Zoom, Google Meet, etc You can also use it in OBS video studio and, of course, to record via a host of other apps I won't mention here. The camera delivers stunning 4K video, but beware that this is native and not many apps - especially ZOOM deliver 4K resolutions, so you may be disappointed when you hook it up to that app. Some podcasting and livestreaming platforms will have 4K, so just understand that just because you have a 4K camera, it won't be used everywhere. I feel that the camera has a weak point in its microphone, not fully capturing a quality signal, despite huge advancements in AI signal improvement out there, OBSBOT has not caught up in this department - Their much more expensive Tail2s don't even have microphones. But there are reasons for that, which I also will not get into. When it comes to the TINY 2, this is a very solid AI tracking, crisp capture, gymbal camera that will definitely upgrade your built-in camera on your computer. The simplicity of operation is not overstated here - it really is an easy camera to set up and get going with. The camera comes with a ¼ inch screw hole for attaching tripods, table or otherwise - it has a base that can latch to your computers monitor for eyelevel views and the app provides a series of refinements that range from picture quality, AI behaviours such as tracking your movements, autofocus and exposure and a beauty feature that smooths skin and other "funny" embellisments you would not be caught dead using in a buisness meeting. There are a couple of things that could make this camera better - wireless connectivity would be a huge upgrade, although I am not sure if a larger, more expensive camera in this range may have that feature. The Tail2 does, but in comparison is $1200! Bluetooth capability would be welcome here, as you could connect a microphone, use it with a phone or tablet, and even wirelessly operate a software joystick for the PTZ functions. In the accessories department, the camera does have a remote (sold separately), but it can only be used with a PC as it requires a USB wireless dongle to be attached for receptivity. This seems unnecessary if only they incorporated a BT radio instead. All these decisions are often what decides the size and price of the device, and I am sure the manufacturer may have ended up with this product version for those reasons. All in all, the unit is a GREAT webcam, the audio is passable, if you like "room tone" and "Reverb," but you can bypass this with another audio source on most software applications you would use this. The camera can't really be used on its own. I plugged it into a video hub and got a signal; however, there is no way to control the camera's gymbal or other functions without having a PC connected. It would be very useful if OBSBOT could make cameras this small that can operate independently, making for video production case scenarios, in a multi-cam setup up thanks to its VERY small footprint.

Amazing Camera!
Immaculate definition, absolutely stunning use for a camera this tiny. Efficient, easy to install, it goes on most stands. The app allows you to adapt and find your setting preferences. But the quality takes it out of the park. Worth the investment!

Amazing webcam (but months of unresolved problems)
Update October 2025: After getting a replacement camera in June, the replacement is now exhibiting the same behavior. I've switched back to an older static camera and will be getting a different gimbal mounted camera at some point. The images are great, but the stability is a huge issue. The camera gets very hot to the touch too, so I think there's a design flaw that needs to get addressed. Update (May 2025): After initially using this for a few months, it started crashing regularly. Maybe once every other week, sometimes more, sometimes less. The light will turn red, it'll stop accepting inputs from the software. Sometimes it'll point downward, sometimes it'll reboot, and other times I have to unplug it to restart it. I've been going back and forth with support for months about this, but since it's non-deterministic and I can't reliable reproduce it, it's been very frustrating. I'm fortunate enough to work from home, a solid camera for Zoom is a necessity, and this camera isn't it. I really want to love this camera, when it works it's nothing short of amazing, but I've been having problems for 6+ months that I can't get resolved. It'll probably be out of warranty by the time I get their support team everything when they could just replace it and have a satisfied customer. Original Review: This thing is great. I'm on Zoom/Teams calls all day every day for my job and needed an upgrade from a webcam that was about a decade old. This is a HUGE upgrade. The image quality is stellar, even in low light. The tracking is really cool, I'm never out of frame. I've had a couple times where it's frozen to the point where I need to unplug it to reset it, but firmware updates have solved those problems for the most part. While this is on the pricey side as far as webcams, the feature set and image quality are worth it. While I'm not a creator, the feature set is good enough for YouTuber's and the like. I use this purely for business purposes, it may be a little overkill, but I love it.

Definitely recommend.
The Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite 4K webcam delivers impressive video quality for PC users, offering crisp and vibrant 4K resolution that makes it ideal for streaming, video calls, and content creation. Its standout feature is AI-powered auto-tracking, which smoothly follows your movements and keeps you centered in the frame without requiring manual adjustments. The setup is straightforward, and the magnetic mount allows for flexible positioning, making it easy to get the perfect angle for any workspace. While the camera performs well in most lighting conditions, some users may notice slight grain in lower light, and the microphone quality is decent but not exceptional compared to dedicated audio devices. Overall, the Obsbot Tiny 2 Lite 4K webcam is a strong choice for anyone looking for high-quality video and smart AI tracking in a compact, user-friendly design.

Huge amount of quality in such a small package.
Astonishing quality from a little tiny web cam! Bought this after looking for something to stream/make videos with, whilst watching YouTube etc one name kept popping up "OBSBOT". £149 for a "webcam" seems expensive but you really need to look at the quality and the features, real AI tracking using the ptz, really fast focus, loads of options not just in the app but natively to change things such as colour, sharpness, hue and so much more. Usually I wouldn't have dared spend that on a webcam but im glad I did and don't regret it. Image quality is superb but if your wanting the full 4k experience please make sure your computer is capable enough as 4k streaming and editing is demanding but the camera its self is very capable. Although this is the lite version I have to say the quality in some aspects are better than the expensive versions. When your setting up there are 2 options to chose from, either simple or advanced, if you just want to use the camera without the fan of changing settings etc then use the simple setup it makes it simple and easy to use. If your like me and like having full control of everything then choose advanced. As for the built in microphones, personally for me there not great BUT absolutely acceptable for video calls and light streaming use. There are too many features to go through but they all work and are great, physal build quality is great feels like a premium product. So far I have used it on pc and a mini mac m4 worked flawlessly on both even in a virtual machiene on the mac for windows. Works with tiktok live studio, OBS, youtube live (via OBS) and is detected by everything I've got. All in all its a great purchase for budding streamers, video callers or content creators without spending a fortune on a dslr. Oh yeah if you have a stream deck there is a plug in which enables you to use virtually every feature on the camera so you can break away from the mouse.
