It's not as thick as most pastes I've found, instead it's a smooth, almost creamy texture that makes anything smell and taste incredible. Each jar comes with a safety seal for freshness. This is very tasty and maintains its flavor even after baking. A little goes a long way, but it's pricey.

Great for baking & making ice cream

Lovely flavor! It smells wonderful too. I'd never used vanilla paste before, but it's worked very well for everything I've made with it so far (cake, frosting, ice cream). It's less thick than I would have expected for something labeled as a paste, but that has not caused me any issues. I think I'll get it again when I run out.

I love using this for baking and adding to sauces

I made apple butter and the recipe called for this it was perfect

This 'paste' is made from a powder. If I wanted a paste made from a powder, I would have purchased a powder & made it myself. It is more of a liquid and not a paste. Paste is supposed to be gooey and thick this is neither of those things. The taste is OK but a bit acidic. It was this or purchase the $100. Bean Paste as Amazon won't sell a smaller amount of the good brand.
