JEGOAT Ear Wax Removal Tool Camera, 1296P HD Otoscope with 6 LED Lights

This device is so cool! It's sleek, the light is bright, it charges with a C, comes with different tools you can use, and connecting it to my phone to use it each time is really easy. The camera is incredible! I can see all my pores and little hairs! I have facial piercings and a new ear piercing that I need to keep clean. I got curious and not to be gross, but I used the camera to view my piercings and I could see the build-up of plasma and the the little q-tip fibers that were stuck to the stud from the prior cleaning. The battery lasts a while or it seems like it does and charges quick.

This kit is fan-freaking-tastic!! I bought it for hubs, who had so much wax in his ears, it not only explained his selective deafness, they looked like beehives in production overdrive! Normally, he's medically squeamish, and he feels pretty much the same about technology. My deaf dinosaur was connected to the app in under five minutes. He went to work on himself while I was assembling supplies. I expected to take over, but he kept at it and did the entire job himself! We are both impressed with the quality of this kit, especially for the low price. I saw a similar kit at Walmart yesterday for $35, more than triple what I paid. Still reasonable compared to a doctor's visit, but any penny saved is a good penny. The camera feed is clear and true. It does a good job by itself of scooping with the silicone sleeves, but the reserve cavalry of included tools really makes this kit shine! The tools are metal, varied, and incredibly useful. Also incredibly useful, included storage for the sleeves and tools. They've pretty much thought of everything! This kit is thoughtful, professional and useful, all for a very reasonable price. What more could we ask for? 😍

This is an amazing product, especially for this price. The camera is much higher quality than you would expect and it allows you to be very accurate and careful while removing earwax. Would recommend everyone to have this tool and use it monthly. Battery life is great and app is very easy to connect and use.

Pros and Cons. Cons first: I bought this item to inspect my eardrums for earwax or other obstructions, but that is impossible with this item (JEGOAT) [and all other items of similar design on Amazon]. This item is about as long as a ballpoint pen, with a 9/16-inch spoon-shaped appliance at the end of a 1 and 3/16-inch metal cylinder/shaft that houses the camera and tiny LED lights. Since the spoon-tip cannot be removed, it both blocks the camera's view and prevents the forward progress of the camera into the ear canal by the spoon's own 9/16-inch length. Besides that issue, the LED lights are not strong enough to penetrate very far into the blackness of my inner ear canal. I considered filing-off the metal spoon-tip, but I am not sure that would work due to the shortness of the metal shaft and the weakness of the LED lights. If the shaft were longer and flexible (or bendable), if the spoon was removable, and if the LED lights were brighter, it might be a more capable product (at least for my purposes). Also, the software is missing one key feature that would really help in using this device: namely, the ability to switch the smartphone display of the camera picture to its mirror image. This would be much more helpful because we almost always see mirror images of our own faces, not how others see us, so when using this tool every movement seems "backwards". I looked at the iPhone display's reflection in a mirror to solve this problem, but I shouldn't have to invent "work-arounds" to correct this item's design flaws (fortunately, this is probably an easy software fix if the company reads this and wishes to improve this product). For these reasons, I deducted 1/5 stars. Pros: Downloading the software from the Apple App Store, installing the software on an iPhone X, and getting this item up and running was super easy. The soft cover of the spoon-tip is very comfortable in the ear, so it is useful just to scratch an itch inside the ear canal. My own ears stopped producing earwax over 20 years ago, but I would think if one's outer ear canal had a lot of earwax, this item would be very useful (although, as I said earlier, the deeper you want to go into the ear canal, the less useful or effective this item becomes). I just got this item yesterday (and so I have only tested it for one day), so I cannot review this item's reliability yet, but it seems to be a well-made device that recharges correctly and performs the limited functions well that it was designed for. For these reasons, I gave it 4/5 stars. Best Regards, PG

ThIs ear wax remover is very well constructed and easy to use . Camera picture is well lit and extremely clear. Easy to follow instructions great product all around

This is the perfect earwax removal tool. It is lighting, compact, and very easy to use within the ear. The pictures are amazing.! immediately connects to the phone app and allows good visualization to remove wax. I was even able to use it on my own ear with a little bit of practice. It comes with a nifty set of small little tools to aid and the removal of the wax at the main tool cannot reach. I even removed a small bead from my grandchild‘s ear. Highly recommended.

What!!!?!???? I ordered this thinking is was some sort of vibrating tool to help loosen the wax. This thing has a frickin camera!!!!! What!?!? How can they sell this for So little!?!? Mind blown!!! Incredible tool. I’m going to buy more for gifts and one for my travel bag. This is insanely great. It seems fragile but I don’t plan to play football with it. Great tool and everyone should have one especially if you have kids. Ive had issue with my ears since I was a child from slicing water into my ears in the dirty bathtub but it felt so amazing. lol. Now I feel like that same water is in my ears since. But hey. Who knew!?!?!!

This tool worked great and was very easy to use. My daughter is prone to ear infections and has tubes in her ears, so I am always cautious when trying to clean her ears. The camera provided a clear view, which allowed me to safely remove built-up wax without causing any discomfort or injury. I was honestly surprised by how much ear wax I was able to remove. It helped me clear out clumps of buildup that I would not have been able to see otherwise. The picture quality was good, the app was easy to connect to, and it gave me peace of mind knowing exactly what I was looking at. If you have children who are prone to wax buildup or ear issues, I highly recommend this tool. It has been a great purchase for our family.
