This does help if your gums are delicate like mine & the taste isn't too sharp for me. But they don't fill up the entire tube with the paste, they're always 3/4 full!

The parodontal toothspaste is exactly what my husband wants for himself and I always order it for him because he loves the way it works plus it’s gentle on his teeth. He refuses to use anything else.

I'm not picky about toothpastes. A mild minty flavor is all I ask. I've used a number of brands over the years and have no strong preference. So when my dentist said I needed this toothpaste to help fight gum disease in my boomer mouth, I was fine with giving it a try. And it's fine for me. Is it helping my mouth? Not sure as I havent run a double-blind test with multiple subjects and before and after evaluations. But it tastes fine and my dentist seems happy.

I finally tried this Parodontax Clean Mint after seeing way too much "pink in the sink" every time I brushed my teeth. It is definitely not a normal toothpaste and feels more like a medicinal treatment for my gums than a refreshing morning routine. I noticed a massive difference in how much my gums bled within about a week of switching over from my regular brand. My gums actually feel tighter and less inflamed now which is a huge relief compared to the constant tenderness I had before. The taste is the biggest hurdle because it is extremely salty and has a medicinal bite that takes a while to get used to. It does not foam up at all like a standard Colgate or Crest so it feels like you are just brushing with a thick paste. I also noticed some weird white skin peeling inside my cheeks after a few days which apparently is a common reaction to the stannous fluoride. It is definitely not a pleasant experience to use but the results for my gum health have been undeniable so far. This is the right choice if your dentist is on your case about gingivitis and you are willing to trade a good flavor for actual results. If you are just looking for a sweet minty breath and lots of bubbles you will probably hate this and want to throw it out immediately. It is a functional dental tool that does exactly what it says on the box even if it makes your morning brushing feel like a chore. I will keep using it because my gums haven't looked this healthy in years despite the salty aftertaste and the lack of foam.

Ok, I’m a senior and was using this specialty toothpaste incorrectly. I couldn’t figure out why it wasn’t working to stop my gums from bleeding, hurting, & swelling. The bleeding started suddenly back in February. First of all I was very deficient in vitamin C but also bc of a problem that has snuck up on me in my later years of no longer being able to absorb vitamin B12 & iron due to low hydrochloric acid. You need all 3 vitamins & minerals in order for your gums to heal properly. Upon learning I had these deficiencies I began taking 2000 mcg of sublingual vitamin B12 & iron along with 1000 mcgs vitamin C you need to absorb it. Then, I ordered this toothpaste that I’d used before with great success in stopping bleeding gums. However, this time it wasn’t working. Duh, I read directions and learned you ARE NOT supposed to rinse your mouth after brushing. I ordered an ultra ultra soft toothbrush and started using this toothpaste properly and within a week I’m seeing and feeling significant improvement. I also rinse with the Paradantox mouthwash once a day also. What I’ve learned in my research is many seniors are critically low or depleted of iron, vit B12 & vitC. Consequently, their gums are thin, receding and can no longer tolerate the force we have been accustomed to using during our daily oral hygiene. We must get our vitamins, use very soft toothbrush gently and a mouthwash (no alcohol). I hope this will help some other seniors in understanding why they are experiencing this dental problem.

I’ve been using this toothpaste for several years and since I started using it, I seem to have much less dumb receding. My checkup is at the dentist have been much better. I have this unsubscribe and save and will continue to use it as long as I can get it.

I suffer from bleeding gums whenever I brush my teeth even with a medium hardness brush - and was surprised that the Parodontax toothpaste actually worked- first time - and my gums didn't bleed! I am going to keep using it and possibly even repeat my order even though it is a bit costly for the relatively small 3.4 oz content. It really looks like a marvellous product.
