Really, really, REALLY nice and sturdy and well-built mini tripod
I looked at a lot of similar products and settled on this one, and I'm glad I did. I was VERY happy with the product as soon as I tried it. I got it for $39, at a 20% discount, and it was half the price of some of the almost identical mini tripods. So for that price, I consider this a complete steal. Here are some great things: - Crazy solid. I'm using this to hold a fairly heavy steel-and-glass teleprompter frame into which is mounted a Sony Alpha mirrorless camera, and the weight is actually offset some from the center of the tripod. My entire setup is about 5 lb and this thing has absolutely no problem holding it perfectly solidly, despite the offset. - The pan axis has a really nice fluid feel to it, and the locking screw is also perfectly effective. - The shoe clamp has a very solid lock, and it includes anti-slide protrusions that prevent it from coming off the side if the locking screw gets loosened by mistake. - Each of the knobs used to tighten the legs or lock down the head require VERY little force to be perfectly locked in place. - The legs lock into three different angles absolutely solidly. (It would be nice if there were one or two more positions, but I only need the full 90-degree position so that doesn't bother me.) - The legs extend four different lengths, and they lock solidly into place with a gentle twist of the foot. - The legs have really nice foam rubber grips on them. Easy to hold, and won't slip from my hand. - Very compact when fully folded. - It may be a bit heavy, but I appreciate the absolute rigidity that comes with that heft. - Came with a fairly solid cell phone clamp, a 1/4 to 3/8 adapter screw, and an allen key to tighten the leg hinge bolts. - Also included a nice carry bag with drawstring. Negatives? The ONLY thing I didn't find perfect was that the shoe screw requires a coin or screwdriver to tighten, but other than that it's perfect.

Love LOVE
This is a beefy little tripod, great value for the money spent, and sturdy without being too heavy. The notch adjustment is easy to use and doesn't lose grip on the teeth/grooves. Admittedly, it took me a minute to figure out the telescoping legs, but the twist and lock is great and reliable. I love the added foam grips, being an astrophotographer who is out for hours in the cold, my fingers are greatful as the legs are metal and would be so cold to the touch. The storage bag is a good size, I can actually fit my smaller tracker in with the tripod - but usually I just lash the tripod to my pack in a water bottle sleeve and use the bag for batteries and cords. It easily holds my tracker, camera, and 135mm lens even when pointed vertically. I've also used it with my webcam for video appointments because it fits right on my desk. I can't say enough about how much I use and love this little guy.

The Best Compact Tripod Available--Period.
This is an incredible compact tripod. The quality and build are equal to the best full size tripods. I cannot believe how versatile and sturdy it is. I would not even consider purchasing any other compact tripods, and I looked at dozens, and dozens of them on the net and in stores. Why this one is not on the top of all their lists baffles me. As of today, December 9th, 2025, there are only a few reviews for this tripod here on Amazon, and they are all excellent. Once word gets out about this tripod, I am certain the purchases will sky rocket, as will the five star reviews.

Great for spotting scopes
I was kind of hesitant to purchase this since I was going to use it for a spotting scope and I've seen reviews for other similar items that they weren't stable but this thing is a beast for it's size. It's easy to use, locks into place , folds up into a compact size and doesn't weigh that much. The only downside is that the extended legs are plastic so keep that in mind as is the camera holder, but I'm not into selfies so not a big deal. I guess if I wanted metal legs, I would have to pay a little more but I don't extend them so I'm good. I gave it 4 stars since I don't know how it will perform down the road but it is made by SIRUI and they do have some high quality tripods ... and you will pay for the quality. LOL.

Hallelujah!
I am a tripod connoisseur. I own a Gitzo Traveler carbon fiber tripod with genuine Arca-Swiss ball head -- $2K+ gear alone. I wanted a small traveler tripod. I tried the Manfrotto BeFree -- which totally sucks. It's absolutely flimsy and highly overrated trash. On a whim I bought this tripod. The fact of the matter is that for indoor/urban situations, a small compact tabletop tripod is better than an expensive tripod you left at home because you didn't want the hassle. This tripod is great. It securely holds 5+ lbs of gear. The Arca-Swiss style head works great. Sure, the ball doesn't have "drag", but what do you expect. The legs setup quickly and securely. The price is dirt-cheap. There's a nice carrying bag. Some people complain there's no plate provided. Get real. The travel size is ridiculously small. What's not to like? Nothing.

Balanced on a rock on top of a mountain
Worked well for a group shot on top of a mountain. Handy little tripod to have along when you don't want something massive. It held my DSLR and walkaround lens without issue.

Good quality tripod
Used this during my vacation and it was stable when putting it on a ledge. The legs are nice and grippy while being heavy enough to not be easily moved. It also is portable so that is a big plus for me.

I had a Konig mini-tripod which I took on a road-trip to the US a few years ago. It was okay but flimsy and couldn't withstand my rough treatment. This one is much sturdier. As other reviews have pointed out, it feels beautifully engineered. It extends smoothly and easily, locks securely, and collapses back into a very neat, portable cluster. The Arca-type clutch/release thingummy feels very stable. The ball head works very smoothly and this, too, feels very secure when tightened. I was initially concerned that it wouldn't be strong enough to bear my Nikon D7200 with a zoom lens but it's very stable indeed. Absolutely perfect for those times you can't be bothered with getting out the big tripod and want to shoot long exposures or just need extra stability. I use it a lot with a remote shutter release for low light/sunrise/sunset shots and long exposures of cars on the motorway at night. It's currently £45 or so but I got mine a couple of months back when Amazon reduced it to about £29, I think. It's easily worth the lower price and by no means robbery at full price.
