Elden Ring Official Strategy Guide, Vol. 3: Shadow of the Erdtree

I have always wanted to get ahold of one of these Future Press guides for myself. I couldn’t resist getting this one once I saw it go on sale for about $36. I have been slowly reading through it, and it is chocked full of so much information. I have already beat Shadow of the Erdtree multiple times, so I don’t need this guide as much as I just wanted it. I am happy to report that it’s a well written guide with most information included. Considering I’ve beaten the game numerous times, I can say that this guide book would be very helpful to someone who is brand new to the game. It is also a must-have for huge Elden Ring fans like myself. The amount of time and energy put into this book is commendable. The artwork is incredible and vibrantly detailed. The pages feel nice in my hands. They are thick enough to where it feels like it can handle a little wear, but not too thick either. The map of the Realm of Shadow is very cool too. It comes separate, so you could hang it as a poster if you’d like. One side of the map is unlabeled, and the other side is labeled with all points of interest. Every little piece about this guide book is extremely well thought out and detailed. I even enjoy that they added a section that offers some new build ideas for SotE, and the small chapter of concept art. There are some things included that even veteran players like myself can find new and interesting. I highly recommend this to any Elden Ring fans. Especially get it while it’s still on sale. Once these books sell out , people try to resell them for exorbitant prices. Just look at the first two volumes of the Elden Ring guide. They are all over resale sites for at least over $100, if not a few hundred dollars. Get the third and final volume while still can for a reasonable price. True Elden Ring fans won’t regret it. I also want to note that I didn’t experience any issues with shipping. I’ve seen many people complain that their books came damaged from shipping, and that is completely on Amazon anyway for not packaging books securely. I had no issues though, and mine came in a proper box meant for shipping books. It showed up on my steps in the box, wrapped in plastic wrap stil, and completely protected and in mint condition.

This is the epitome of the perfect book for a game.. I can't wait to get the other two when I can afford them. It is a beautiful book. Maps of the dungeons showing the layout. That is so helpful! It is not a walkthrough. It is an explanation of everything with tons of maps of every area, where every boss is location etc. But you are still on your own to find your way. After all, you are a tarnished... Seriously, it's the perfect book!!

I have to say, the quality of this final volume is just outstanding and makes it an absolute must-own for any big fan of the game. It’s important to understand that this is less a traditional "strategy guide" and more of a definitive encyclopedia for the Lands Between. The book itself is beautifully made, with thick, high-quality paper and crystal-clear images that make it a genuine pleasure to flip through. Honestly, it's so much better than trying to piece together lore or find item stats by scrolling through cluttered, ad-filled wikis online. Having everything, the complete bestiary, all the armor and weapons, every item description laid out so perfectly in one place is incredible for anyone who loves digging into the world's lore. They clearly took their time to get this right, and it shows. For a collector or anyone who wants a permanent, gorgeous tribute to the game on their shelf, this is a 10/10 purchase.

I picked up all three volumes the moment they became available, and owning the full set only reinforces how much these books deserve support. If we want publishers to keep putting real effort into physical strategy guides, buying the complete collection actually matters. The artwork alone justifies the purchase, but beyond that, these volumes capture the spirit of what strategy guides used to be—and why they still matter.

Definitely worth the money, nice artwork and interesting layout. The text is a little too small for me to read without a bright light but there is a ton of information packed in there. Everything you could possibly need to know bout the DLC, i think.

The bad. Seal was broken so no new book beautiful smell. And gold ribbon was broke. The good. The book is a treasure of info. And beautifully done. Wonderful maps and compleat description.

Given the existence of The Internet, physical game guides are a nice shelf warming Collector's item for me. I'm a big fan of the Future Press Guides, and am glad to have been able to buy this at a good price before it inevitably ballooned in price. Looks nice from the outside! Please rerelease the Sekiro guide now. Please.

Le informazioni sono presentate in modo chiaro, elegante e incredibilmente intuitivo. Le mappe esclusive, disegnate appositamente per la guida, sono un'opera d'arte, molto più dettagliate e leggibili di quella in-game, e da sole valgono quasi il prezzo del libro. Contenuti extra di grande pregio: La galleria finale con i concept art a tutta pagina è meravigliosa, e l'enorme poster della mappa del Regno dell'Ombra, con tutti i luoghi e i punti di grazia segnati, è la ciliegina sulla torta per ogni fan e collezionista.
