RECOACTIV Recovery Immune for cats, 3 x 90 ml, high-calorie complete diet food for cats suffering from malnutrition and during recovery, to promote weight gain, and for pets who refuse to eat

Really good for cats that won't eat. No nasty side affects as far as I can tell ( although I'm only giving a half dose, as the cat is very small.) Definately perked her up and she's interested in food again. Downside is the price, but when you consider the wasted money on opened packets of food she wouldn't eat, it's worth it.

My 12-year-old cat - already very lean, suddenly stopped eating, and just lying in his cat bed most of the day & evening - he had been to vet for a health check just a few months previously - blood tests etc., came back normal - I decided to give RECOACTIV a try, I mixed the required amount with a dash of Pro-Kolin, the contents of a Cystophan capsule, and a third of a level teaspoon of hemp protein with a few drops of boiled, filtered water. This mix is then drawn into a syringe and fed to my cat every evening. The difference has been remarkable, he started getting out of his bed and showing interest in his environment; his appetite has increased, his fur looking healthy & fluffy again, and his yowly-self returned lol! I honestly think RECOACTIV saved my cats life, and my own added ingredients to the final mix have likely contributed too, which is why I included them in this review and without the liquid-food, I don't think my cat would have tolerated the hemp protein mixed with the Cystophan tab (which he previously had in his food) - despite his improvements am still giving him a dose every evening until he's put on a sufficient amount of weight. It's been about 3 weeks since he had his first dose, and still doing well - totally amazing. I really thought he was on his way out. Thank you RECOACTIV!!

I've a old cat that was beginning to look frail and starting to lose weight because she would only eat part of her meals and my other problem is she only likes certain foods and refuses to try any other so getting the calories and vitamins she needed was beginning to be a nightmare but this product she loved from the first taste and in a matter of days she wanted to eat more food and became more active not by much because of her age but was ready to bug your for lot's of cuddles and play again with her toy's when before all she did was sleep but this product as given her energy she love's the taste it's just the right thickness for her to lap at and it's the first thing she eats and her health seems to have improved it's worth every penny I'll definitely be buying more especially now I know I don't have to buy such a big bottle cause you have to use it in 10 day's of opening so discovered you can get a pack of smaller bottles so I can give her it when she needs it without any waste like with a 280ml bottle the smaller bottles get all used up because it's of such good quality it's a shame to waste any if you've a pet thats sick or convalescing and will not eat i'd really recommend trying this as it has all you need to give them a helping hand to recover it's definitely a 5* product. Update definitely recommend cause this product is so good my old cat now19 is still going still able to get around and gets hungry where as before she'd not want to eat and if she did would only eat small amounts and would just lay in her bed but now she loves to cuddle and very lond when it's her dinner time's she never misses she only needs now and then but I definitely put her health and happiness down to this product i always have in my cupboard along with high calorie paste or gel tubes which you can put on there paw to lick off but this liquid I hide in cat gravy glad to update and give it's 5*

This is a tonic for cats. If you cat is not eating you need to use a lot which I struggled to syringe into my cats mouth. She was okay with 5-10ml at a time but to get the dose for a day, I needed to do this a lot and she hid away and eventually i felt like i was being cruel forcing it down her. She wasn't interested in eating it herself. But if she had the product itself was very good. She would have benefited from the tonic. She sadly passed away a few days later - RIP my little girl... miss you terribly.

My elderly cat often didn't eat but when I gave her this she perked up. She used to wait for her " wonder tonic" more so than her food or treats. This helped her to put on weight and for a fussy eater she loved the taste. It came on time and well packed. A bit pricey hence 4 stars but definitely worth every penny as never wasted. Unfortunately my old lady cat isn't with us now but if she were I would continue to buy this. It is a must for sickly, fussy elderly cats.

This liquid I believe saved my little cats life. He has Gingivitis stomatitis which in spite of full mouth tooth extraction was causing huge inflammation and pain which made eating agonising. Pain killers were impossible to administer and he was fading away in front of our eyes. Vets were out of ideas and talking about "making a difficult decision". He managed to lick this liquid which I could put his liquid painkillers into and kept him ticking over in terms of calories. We used it fairly long term for him and very very slowly and after much trial and error introduced some foods again. He still approaches food gingerly and it takes him some time to eat but he has learnt to eat around the inflammation which Im told will probably never go away. My Vets did not know about this product but have taken note of it for other clients and Pets during period of illness, injury or post op. Im so grateful I found this.

I’m not often compelled to give reviews, but I genuinely believe this product turned my cat around. We’ve just undergone major bilateral hip surgery on our 2yo old Maine Coon and after a 4 week period of barely getting any actual food in him (excluding treats, naturally) due to his cocktail of medication, and his outright refusal to eat the vet food, I started looking for other options to get nutrients in him as he’d lost around 20% of his body weight over the past few months and things were getting dire. This product has truly been our saving grace! We’ve been using it for around 2 weeks now and not only is he very happy to eat it, he’s absolutely thrived on it. His appetite is 10 times better than it was, he’s actually eating his regular meals again, gaining weight and is way more alert than he has been for some time. The product itself is a very thick brown liquid, smells like hoppy marmite to me, not unpleasant at all. He didn’t take to it mixed with food, or on a small plate, but after some experimenting, he is very happy to eat it via a syringe like the cat yoghurt tubes he loves. I bought a pack of them on Amazon, then pour some Recoactiv into the little measuring cup provided with the bottle and suck it up into the syringe, he eats it every time! The bottles come well packaged, with a measuring cup for easy portioning and clear instructions on how much to feed per the cat’s body weight. It has literally all the minerals and nutrients they need along with around 2kcal per ml. We’ve had no negative side effects like runny bottoms or sickness and he is typically on the sensitive side when it comes to food. I keep it in the fridge as directed and coincidentally, he seems to prefer it cold, so this is a win in my books. The product is expensive, but it is absolutely worth it in my opinion. I couldn’t be more pleased with it. We have one more surgery to go and I’ve already repurchased another bottle to get him through it. Wouldn’t be without it and it’ll be my go-to now for any periods of recovery we go through with any of my cats.

My cat stopped eating and drinking for no reason, took her to the vets where they had my pants down as normal. Doing blood tests, anti sickness meds and an appetite stimulant. Vets wanted to see her again 24 hours later for more blood tests and another clinical check if she still hadn't eaten and this was at a clinic much further away than my local clinic. She hates the car and the basket so wasn't taking her there. Straight to Amazon to see what is available to improve poorly cats appetites and found this. Now, yes it is expensive and the shelf life once open is only 10 days but once my cat had a few licks at it, she started eating and drinking more or less instantly and was even looking for more food than she would normally have. It is worth every penny and I have given her the whole bottle simply to not waste it. I would recommend this for poorly cats, obviously I cannot comment on post surgery and things like that but for a stubborn kitty that has been refusing food & water this is great stuff and I will be buying this if she ever falls ill again, rather than bank roll my local vet clinic.

Lo compré para una garita que tiene gengivitis y desde que se lo doy ha dejado de babear ,tiene que tomar la cortisona pero ya no es tan seguido veo que come más, se lo pongo en un platito y se toma sin ningún problema y es la que más problemas ha tenido para comer según que comida😲, no digo que sea mágico pero me está dando unos resultados increíbles de verdad, yo siempre digo que cada gato es un caso pero con mis 7 gatos a todos les he dado a probar en menor cantidad y les encanta 😍😍😍😍.. resultados, el de los resfriados ya no tiene mocos y respira genial, a el que tenía problemas con su pelaje, ahora precioso y la pequeña con el virus su recuperación va siendo lenta pero su apetito ha aumentado 🥣😁 . Algo bueno debe tener ,creo que no faltará en casa 😻😻😻😻😻💜 haré un vídeo para mostrar su aceptación 💞

Mi gato es un receloso con cualquier comida/chuche que le damos, pero esto le ha encantado. Está súper pesado para que se lo demos jaja. Tiene unos 19 años y estaba algo desnutrido últimamente, porque vomitaba y no estaba comiendo bien. Desde que le damos este producto como suplemento, ha engordado un poquito, está mucho más activo y el pelo le brilla.

Preso per un gatto con problemi alla bocca che gli consentono di mangiare correttamente. Molto appetibile, ok dal veterinario.

J'ai acheté ce produit un peu à reculons, coincée entre les commentaires négatifs et mon chat en train de mourir de faim... Eh bien je ne l'ai pas regretté, c'est le moins qu'on puisse dire!! J'ai mélangé ce produit à du pâté en mousse, pour obtenir une bouillie fluide à lécher sans avoir besoin de recourir à la mastication, et cela a sauvé mon chat!! Le produit pue, et seul, je ne sais pas si mon chat l'aurait mangé, mais idem pour le pâté, seul, le chat le boudait. Le mélange des deux a été miraculeux. Même avec la bouche entièrement brûlée, mon chat a tout lapé, et s'est remis à manger après une semaine entière de jeûne, alors qu'il boudait tout, même les produits du véto. Le produit est un liquide épais comme une sauce et se lape très facilement. Il a été très appétant pour mon chat, vieux et difficile. Je recommande ce produit, il remonte un chat en quelques jours, il est vraiment top!
