Greenstone Fairchild Arbor

My husband and I put it together with our 8 year old daughter, and let her work the power drill because construction was all so easy. She felt very successful having helped build our new arbor. The whole thing was up in a couple hours, from opening the box to digging holes to clean up. I have no complaints or even suggestions for improvement. This was quick and easy. The most difficult part was probably mixing the cement, and that wasn't even that hard or time consuming. There is a groove on the inside of each leg where an L shaped piece of metal fits. You screw one side to the wood, the other side goes into the groove. It fits nicely. We used those braces to mount the arbor in concrete. We braced the arbor with old wood and bricks so it would stand securely while the concrete sets, then we mixed up the concrete in an old cat litter bucket and poured it in the shallow hole on each side of our walkway. In a few days, we will remove the old pieces of wood that are helping support it. It all looks very nice. The kids got to put their handprints in the concrete. I can't wait until the grapes grow enough they can start climbing the trellis. It makes our front yard look nicer.

This is a decent arbor and ridiculously easy to put together. It arrived with one of the lattice pieces broken and the bolts are not real steel so be careful or they will snap off while your tightening them. The finish has lasted through a tough winter and looks the same as the day I bought it. It's beautiful and will look even better once I have vines growing over the broken lattice piece!

This looks so good in my yard with grapes growing over the top of it. I put it so that it frames the gate to the backyard and it's just perfect there. So far, it's weathered pretty well here in the high desert (hot dry summers, very cold winters, not much moisture) and hasn't experienced any noticeable deterioration. It's just very pretty and adds something special to the landscaping.

Arbor arrived in a torn box, and appeared to have been previously opened. One of the sides was broken, (the leg was snapped off) making the arbor completely unusable. Latticework was also defective. Since we planned to use it for a wedding we didn't want to take a chance on reordering, so we returned it (which was painless) and bought one locally.

I bought two arches from Greestone. This one and the Bungalow. Although I like the Bungalow stylistically, this one fit the space better. The two arches compliment each other perfectly. I could not be happier with how fast they came and how easy they were to set up. Did the first one with a friend and did the second myself. Took no time at all and looks great.

I purchased this for our daughter's wedding. Gave 4 stars instead of 5 only because there was a small sliver of wood out of one go the pieces, very minor and easily dealt with. I was impressed with the quality especially with the price. Each piece and bag was clearly marked. Easy to follow instructions, had it put together in about 15 or 20 minutes. We are very happy with this purchase and would definitely recommend. It' a very nice looking arbor and was beautiful at the wedding!

This is a gorgeous item! Easy to assemble, and looks even better in person. I attached it with screws to an existing fence, around the gate, rather than using the spike and concrete system, and it's rock stable.

I love it--it is gorgeous on our patio garden! Construction is fairly easy (you will need to secure the legs in cement to keep it sturdy). Beautiful wood, looks just like the picture, lovely color. The inside space is even larger than I anticipated, which is nice.
