Upscale looking globe
Love the look of this globe. Have it on a shelf in the livingroom. Has a more classy look than a standard blue globe. (In my opinion)

Came dammaged
The globe came with a scratch on it and part of the paper map was peeled off... This is a gift for a wedding next week so I can't send it back in time to get it returned/refunded. I was able to glue the peeled part back on. But if they look really close at South Africa they are gonna see the flaw. It looks really good otherwise, very nice globe... Just annoying to open it and see that dammage. Ugh.

It's all about that base!
The globe itself is pretty, but the base was glued together in multiple pieces that is easy to see even from a distance because the pieces don't match or line up. All four sides of the base have an off color rectangle in the center, which looks terrible. Hopefully I can find a way to fix it, because other than the way the base looks the globe goes nicely with our decor.
