Sunweyer 2024 Latest Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto Dongle 2 in 1 Auto Connect Box,USB Type-C Port,Supports Online Updates Wired to Wireless Adapter

I have a 2023 Subaru WRX GT. It does NOT have wireless Android Auto, despite the dealer saying that it did! But, whatever. I've had a few different dongles, and they've all given me issues with either dropping the connection, locking up, etc. This one works great! The only issue is about once a month, for 2 or 3 days, it will randomly change the pin, so I have to OK the connection to my phone every single time. But then? It stops and just works flawlessly for a few weeks until it does that again. Aside from that, it's solid, so it's really a minor issue. I cannot get the firmware update to work, though. Not sure if there *IS* a firmware update, but overall, I'm quite happy with this.

I bought this in October of 2024. When I first bought this and used it, it worked perfectly. This product is practically plug-n-play, it connects to your phone easily once you go through the pairing process. You don't need to rely on a cable that can be interfered with from your environment, this is a direct connection to the hardware of this small device. However, sometimes there is really bad latency, but most of the time there is little latency. I think for a wireless connector, that's pretty solid compared to what I had before. The product I had before was a CarlinkIt adapter, that adapter is not good for long term use due to it's reliance on an unshielded or unprotected cable. This cable would be prone to electromagnetic interference while on the road and would make that adapter unreliable. This adapter that I bought from Sunmeyer completely negates that issue and the need for a cable due to it's compact size and direct connection. This product's long term use is just okay, I don't think it's the best but I still think this product is better than most of those adapters out there. If you buy this for the long term, be ready for your Google Maps or Waze crashing and becoming unusable during your drive. This issue does not happen often, but it occurs if you cancel your route while you're following it. This can result in your adapter being borderline unusable, it's resolved by unplugging the adapter and plugging it back in. Also, the product can suffer connectivity issues, but depending on your vehicle it can be resolved while you're driving by just exiting Android Auto and selecting it again or by restarting your infotainment display. This issue also doesn't happen often. To briefly conclude, this is a solid product. It's absolutely worth buying compared to most of the wireless Android Auto adapters out there. Just keep in mind that Wireless Android Auto eats through battery and that this adapter is prone to connectivity issues and navigation apps crashing in the long term.

I did a ridiculous amount of research before buying an adapter, and ultimately I went with this one because it was a USB stick and I didn’t want a box with a cord taking up space. Connection was easy the first time. There was a small lag time when skipping songs, but otherwise it functioned relatively well. 2 weeks after I got it we went on a road trip and switched from my phone to my husbands, and that’s where I started having problems. When I tried connecting it back to my phone, it took a much longer time to set up. The lag time became annoyingly slower than before, and I tried to answer a phone call and it would not let me pick it up from my steering wheel control nor my touch screen. I had high hopes for this one but I had to send it back.

The instructions aren't good. The setup interface isn't good. But it mostly does what it should.

Almost a year using it , works very well , sometimes the lag can take time but it can be handle with patience

I purchased one for my vehicle and it was great, Its been a couple of months and it still works. Well, I decided to but one for my wife's vehicle and it only lasted three months. Now when we attempt to use it, the sound starts stuttering. I checked if the device has the most recent update and it already does.

This worked great for about a month. Then most of the time it would not connect and the rest of the time if it did connect within 1 to 2 minutes it would start skipping like a scratched CD! Very frustrating when using my navigation as it would either not show up or would disappear and it was cutting in and out or just disconnecting. Very disappointed because this was great when it worked and inexpensive.

Per chi vuole liberarsi dei cavi senza rinunciare alla comodità di CarPlay o Android Auto, questo dispositivo è la soluzione ideale. Facile da installare, veloce e affidabile: assolutamente consigliato!
