Effective! Just one short blast and our pup looks around like what the heck was that? LOL Stops her in her tracks and disengages her from the unwanted behavior. She doesn't see us spray it, and we don't aim it at anything because it is a pretty strong blast of air. No scent and just loud enough.

I have been training dogs for years and I am a registered veterinary technician. I currently have a pack of yappers who go crazy at any animals on tv, the Prime driver, squirrels, etc. Since I can't tolerate yapping dogs, I needed a way to let them know this was not acceptable behavior. This spray emits a loud pssst sound that stops them in mid bark. I have one can by my chair in the living room and one can at the back door that I can carry when we go out so when they go insane at deer or rabbits, I can stop them. Like all training methods, you have to use it sparingly so they don't become immune to it, but it does work very well in conjunction with praise and treats once they stop barking. I don't have to use it nearly as much as I did in the beginning. It lasts quite awhile and I have reordered it when it runs out. Highly recommended when used correctly.

Dogs listen after one spray, buy some for training!

I was reticent to purchase, but with the reviews nearly all positive I went ahead and boy, am I glad I did...two little barky dogs have reduced their alerts to a dull roar. No more crowding the front door when someone shows up, no more barking at passersby, no more yelling at lizards or thunder. Life has returned to a semblance of calm. Thank you!

This is the most amazing dog training product I’ve ever come across! My sister gave me a can of this because I have 2 leash aggressive & yard aggressive dogs. I live in a neighborhood that is very dog friendly and my two bark & lunge at every person, animal, bicycle, skateboarder, rabbit, etc. that crosses their path. Having my dogs in the front yard while I’m doing yardwork or taking them on a walk was no longer enjoyable. After two walks with this can of spray one Dog is completely trained and all I have to do is make the S sound with my voice now and he responds immediately whether it’s to “leave it”or any other command. I was able to determine with my other dog who is a senior that she is going deaf and cannot hear the spray sound from the can. She does not respond to the sound at all. It also explains why she does not always respond to other commands. Now that I know she is going deaf I can work on sign language with her and the other one as well.Be sure to use a command when you spray off to the side so your dog understands what you expect from them.
