I have used these drills daily on small engine repairs for years. They are totally dependable and the batteries are still robust over days of use before recharging (still quickly, w/in 15-20 min). The built in lights still work, as does the adjustable clutch, which can be set at a high torque. They are lightweight and easy to handle.

I bought this back in Oct 2020. the larger one has never worked quite right it seems to short out and loose power half way through a drill in the Sheetrock. We’ve made sure the battery is fully charged. The smaller one always works fabulous. Does dewalt stand by their products? I was told recently that they may help fix the issue?

Do not buy this if you live in the UK. I have no idea whether this item is good or bad. It came with what appears to be an American charger. There was no warning on the box or the charger that this would fail if plugged into the UK mains.
