TowerPro MG995 Servo Motor

- Just bought in 339/- because of Lightning Deal offer - This motor function very good, it has very high torque on 5v - It is 180 degree mod - This motor comes with 4 gears - Tested with Arduino UNO and worked perfectly

powerfull servo, rotation angle is 120 degree, item was same as it is shown in pictures, was delivered on time to me. Make sure servo does not ratoate completly, it rotates to some angle and than it can be reversed back to same angle. to make it to rotate at infinite degree you need to check on youtube. there are lots of tutorial.

Performance is upto the mark. Value for money. Used it for my drone’s landing gear it can easily lift 500 grams. Best servo motor you can buy. Go for it without resisting to buy it. I have given a video check it out.

I wanted a servo motor with 180 degrees rotation. But this is making only 90 degrees rotation ( it is stated in the description that it would make 180 degrees rotation).

Worst servo motor possible. Wasted my 500₹ and gears are not made of metal. The threads of the motor wear out instantly. Do not buy if you are using this for drone / rc car.

I don't think that this product is genuine... First of all all the gears in this servo are plastic.. Not metal... Only the main Shaft out of the servo is metal... The other gears inside are quite cheap plastic.. And this is not mentioned in anywhere in the product page.... I don't think that is right... Secondly the servo came to me already damaged... I received the package the next day of ordering... Great thanks to Amazon for that.. But due to covid... I quarantined the package for 7 days... Which means I didn't touched the package... Even didn't opend the package.... Today when I takeout the package to see the product... I saw a difference... The Shaft was not the same coloured as shown in the pictures or like th originals.... Though.. I connected it with my adruino Uno... And it's only rattled a bit.. But never rotated.... I tried for almost 1 hour with different codes... But nothing works..... Finally I removed the 4 screws and when I got inside... The inside structure was quite different from the original..... The potentiometer was different... But the most shocking thing was... The gears... They are not only made of plastic... But also one of them in already worn out.... I included every pictures... I don't know why this happened... But it was there.... I was making a project.. Which has deadline on 20th September... And now I don't have any hope for my project 🙂..... I apllied for a return... Don't know what will happen.... Think twice before buying any servo motor from Amazon... Every servo I got on Amazon... The reviews are the same...
