From the Publisher Review: The Let Them Theory for Setting Boundaries and Managing Difficult Relationships, LET ME tell you... - I bought The Let Them Theory for myself while navigating a difficult relationship with a narcissistic parent, and this book genuinely opened my eyes. It offers grounded, practical principles that helped me reframe how I respond to behavior I can’t control—and that shift alone has been incredibly freeing. The core message is simple but powerful: stop trying to manage other people’s reactions and focus on your own boundaries, expectations, and peace. Rather than pushing toxic positivity or unrealistic solutions, the book stays rooted in emotional realism. It helped me recognize patterns, detach from unnecessary conflict, and approach the relationship with more clarity and less emotional exhaustion. What really surprised me was how useful this book became for more than just one relationship. My wife and I read it together, and it sparked meaningful conversations about boundaries, communication, and how we show up in all kinds of challenging relationships—family, work, and friendships. It gave us a shared language and practical tools we could actually apply day to day. If there’s one thing I wish, it’s that I had discovered this book sooner. Some readers may already be familiar with similar concepts, but the way they’re explained here feels accessible, validating, and easy to implement without feeling clinical or overwhelming. Overall, this is a thoughtful, empowering read that can genuinely change how you navigate difficult relationships. Highly recommended for anyone dealing with emotionally challenging family dynamics or trying to protect their peace without guilt. Review: I can't stop saying let them - Mel Robbins has done it again. And to start this I will say I am a big Mel fan. I have read her other books and audibles, my favorite is Take Control of your life. So I'm a longterm fan I also listen to her podcat. With that in mind my expectations were high for Let Them especially because Mel said it's the best thing she's created and OPrah gave it really high praise. I had oredered the book but it didn't come yet so I got the kindle version here to start reading it, I can't wait for my phsical book too but I didn't want to wait because I wanted to read it, now that i'm done I'm going to get the audiobook too. Okay - so you are probably wondering, if I heard the podcast on it, do I still need this? The answer is YES. i just love the book. It covers so much. Way more thna I was expecting? The big reveal of let them AND let me makes this so deep and it covers so many different parts of your life you can use it. Yes you can get 'say let them" after a chapter but Mel takes the theory into so many siotuations and shares so much research and ways to use it, I kept learning so much. My favorite is the sections about family. I was with my family over the holidays and could not stop saying LET THEM. I told everyone to let them. I told evertyone about this book! They may be sick of me saying let them... to that I say let them. My favorite section of the book though is the part about INFLUENCE. So I say let them, now what? I don't like how they act that's it? NOPE Mel says you need to use your influence to make your relationships better. I love hjow in a world where people are so quick to cut people off, leave them behind, think you're better without [eople, let them is about bringing you TOGETHER with people. It's such a needed messave in our divided world. I am already using the ABCD loop with people I know. The other sections I liked the most: dating section (was sharing tips with my brother who is currently looking to meet someone) and who you use let them there, FRIENDSHIP section, Mel I really needed that, the comparison section is so important, and most of all I love the part about how to help loves ones who are struggling. the entire book offers such a compassionate, approch that feels so loving to both others and yourself. I thogut after following Mel for so long, I didn't know if I would learn anything new, but I learned SO MUCH. What didn't I like about it? Well honestly not much. I do wish there was more on parenting in the book, but what's cool is Mel has a bonus section in the book with a full extra chapter you can download about parenting, which I already read and that is really good, but I wish there was even more content there. but overall I just loved this book. It's given me so much to think about and work on in 2025. I also want my husband to read this, now that I read the ebook I'll give him my printbook when that arrives. Overall this was a great read and I am really glad I took the time to read it.

Four Stars: Insightful and Impactful Reading
This book provides clarity in human relationships pertaining to workplace, family, and social circles. Author Mel Robbins explains the human tendency of needing to belong and bond, having personal freedoms and space to make informed choices, and providing coping strength to not feel over burdened due to work or perceived social obligations or human stereotypes. "Let Them", "Let Me" is a series of strategies/skills that help one regain focus on finite time and energies to have more productive personal relationships and work outcomes. The book teaches one to de-prioritize things and channel emotions into actionable goals to set healthy boundaries in selection of friends, career paths, and effectively resolving conflicts. Some chapters are overly redundant (and precludes a fifth star rating); however, it's a worthwhile book that definitively helps me set more impactful goals in 2026 and beyond.

Highly recommend this book
This is an excellent book and I am so glad it was recommended to me by my therapist. The concepts are easy to understand and very practical, and it really helped shift my perspective in a healthy way. It is one of those books that makes you pause and reflect on your own habits and boundaries without feeling overwhelming or preachy. I found it genuinely helpful and would recommend it to anyone who is working on personal growth or emotional well being

NON FICTION IS A GREAT WAY TO LISTEN WHILE YOU DRIVE! TRY AUDIBLE!
LET THEM AUDIBLE NON-FICTION INSPIRATIONAL BOOK ON LISTENING TO MEL ROBBINS MOTIVATIONAL ADVICE MAKES MY DRIVING DESTINATIONS ENJOYABLE! I had something like 24 AUDIBLE CREDITS that have built up because I'm a visual person that loves to read. I've had the membership for over ten years and I only like certain NON FICTION SELF DEVELOPMENT books which I listen to Memoirs, Self help, but never fiction books, because my imagination is more vivid when I read. I always either listen to my podcasts on Spotify or NON-FICTION on AUDIBLE which is owned by Amazon. I can't drive anywhere without my Podcasts or very few Non-Fiction Titles that interest me, but I have had those credits and I love MEL ROBBINS so I decided to try it on AUDIBLE. My friends who read that listen to fiction on AUDIO understood why I bought the same fictional title and I had already loved reading it on my Kindle. It was a favorite lifetime reading experience and I own many of the same KINDLE & AUDIBLE versions but I noticed that fiction book that it was one of the most beautifully written books that when I went to listen to it, I quickly gave up because it was bland. I have been told by more frequent readers like myself who listen to the Audio version and recommend it to me on Audio since they enjoyed it better have said listening to fiction is a skill that you have to develop, so I stick to NON FICTION and I need to listen to something while I'm driving so I buy the Kindle Version & the AUDIBLE and it makes my driving to destinations shorter.v That's why I have Spotify because there's two favorite podcasts but I pay extra for no commercials and now my top favorite podcast has commercials which I 'm considering cancelling because the reason I pay extra is because the commercials drive me crazy so now Spotify says it's up to the podcast. The reason I've been a member since 2018, is because it is synced to the Bluetooth, in my car and the podcasts don't require Cell towers so you don't get the buffering that I do with Audible in areas where there aren't Cell towers which we call them dead zones. I'm recommending this AUDIBLE PURCHASE called, "LET THEM," because MEL ROBBINS is a new motivational author to me, and she wrote the book which she has some fascinating inspirational content, that I have learned some ideas to improve my life. She is a fantastic narrator in her soothing voice. One nice thing about AUDIBLE is they are extremely friendly and if you don't like the AUDIO BOOK Listening experience, you can return it, which you can't do with the KINDLE Books. so I have had to return something only twice in fifteen years, since I usually love what I purchase. I do recommend this book on AUDIBLE to listen to or if you don't have a membership they used to have a free trial and a free book if you're a new member. But I'm not sure, but however medium you choose this is a FAVORITE and it's a bestseller that I can promise you will love it, as well. It has a very high rating of tens of thousands of five star ratings which is even more evident that it's a Spectacular choice!

Great Book
Ive seen this on Instagram a lot and decided to buy it and read it. It took some time before I finished it as I took a break from it. It helped me see things in a different perspective. I cannot wait to start practicing the things I learned from this book in my life. I am hoping that this will improve my life and my relationships (both with family, friends and him). I highly recommend this book to everyone.
