I should have bought this years ago instead of using wrenches. The design also works like a speed ratchet in that you don't have to remove the tool and reposition on every turn.

Deceptively useless
Agree with other reviews, it may be 3/8 IPS but not the 3/8 compression on american angle stop valves. Its basically useless. The ratcheting part seems good but as soon as I put pressure it slips. Only good for loosening existing valves.

Glad I purchased these as I can now change out some plumbing DIY projects.

Worked as it should
It is surprising built heavy. The jaws open and close nicely. I just tested the grip on my stop valve and I think it will work fine when I need it.
