Worth the money
The tape was easy to unroll onto my pipes, and it stuck well, even through the torrential rain that we've had. We've also had some below freezing weather, and my pipes did not freeze. It's definitely worth buying, I would buy it again. The thickness was just enough, that I needed. The durability was great, as I said it worked well in the terrible rain that we've been having, and the freezing cold weather.

Great value for the price.
This 2-inch (52mm) wide and 3mm thick adhesive-backed foam weather strip offers a genuinely versatile and a great solution. For applications like RV insulation, air conditioning window seals, and garage doors, this foam strip lives up to its promise of firm, non-degumming adhesion. My roll is just over 18 ft long. The narrow profile is ideal for sealing small, gaps where thicker strips would interfere with the operation of doors or windows, making it perfect for minimizing air leaks around AC units or electrical cabinet doors. It is just right for what I need - just a protective barrier for dust and noise around a gap in a door. Where this product truly shines is its adhesive quality. The "non-degumming, stick firmly" claim is accurate. This strip maintains its bond, which is essential for dynamic environments like car trunks, boats, and RV compartments. You can use it for sound dampening in speaker cabinets and sports equipment to insulating plumbing and HVAC systems, Overall, this adhesive foam strip is a high-quality, cost-effective investment. If you need a reliable, slender seal for multiple projects—especially those requiring long-term, non-failing adhesion—this is the strip to choose. Highly recommended.

Strong seal, year-round protection
This DEMEDO Pipe Insulation Tape is a must-have for any homeowner or HVAC technician. The self-adhesive backing makes installation incredibly easy—no extra tools or mess. It wraps snugly around pipes and creates a tight seal that holds up even in outdoor conditions. I used it on exposed water lines and my AC unit, and the difference in temperature retention and condensation control was immediate. The foam is durable yet flexible, and it sticks securely even in cold weather. Excellent value for the quality and length—definitely a reliable solution for keeping pipes insulated year-round.

Better than Most
The tape worked really well until the next day when it started to peel up. I am glad that I purchased this tape with the grid plastic on the sticky side compared to its competitor, which did not have the grid to help it stick. I would have rated five stars, however, after it peeled up, I had to reapply. I do think that this was a better option than it’s competitors.

Good DIY solution
Thick tape has held up well so far on my RV pipes. Good enough adhesive to stick to any clean pipe. not sure how well it will hold up in the winter, will update my review when something happens.

Terrible adhesion.
Winter is coming. I wrapped my pipes. This stuff has a seriously strong adhesive on it that faces way from the pipe. We do not have severe winters here so I do not think the foam layer will be inadequate. Later- I have tried wrapping this stuff several times and every time it becomes unwrapped within a couple of weeks. I am facing this winter by just wrapping with towels and old clothes. This stuff gets a one star now.

Great insulating pipe tape..
The stuff is super sticky. I wish it was a little thicker but it worked for keeping our outdoor pipe from freezing. I used two layers and it is strong and durable.

Best solution for sweaty PEX and drain pipes
This is an excellent solution to insulating pipes. I have a 1/2” cold water PEX line and a 2” drain line from my kitchen sink that both sweat due to the humidity in my basement. This 4” tape works great for the bends and PEX fittings that standard foam tubes have to be cut, shaped, and fought to fit or leaves gaps. The R-1 tape is fairly thin compared to the thick R-4 foam tubes but it has done an excellent job in my basement to resolve all the issue. And it’s far easier to use in wall because it’s thinner. While more expensive than foam tubes, it makes up for it by covering fittings and being easier to use on PEX. If you only need sweat control and R-1 is fine, I highly recommend!
