Detergent PULY CAFF Plus 570 g

I'm new to espresso machines and needed to buy some cleaner for back flushing the three way solenoid and cleaning the portafilter in my second hand machine. I took a chance on ordering this espresso machine detergent instead of the brand leader, which is more expensive. As I suspected, espresso machine cleaner is pretty much the same as old fashioned dishwasher powder. Dissolved in hot water, this Puly powder quickly removed built-up deposits from my portafilter. A bit of light rubbing brought it back to shining almost like new. I used a few grams in the blind portafilter basket for back flushing, which blew out plenty of grime in the froth. This powder is very strong, so it took quite a bit of flushing to clear it through. I could probably just use two grams next time. As far as I can tell, this powder works just as well as the well known brand leader, but is cheaper so I have no hesitation in recommending it.

I use this cleaner for periodic cleaning of my espresso machine by back flushing, also for soaking portafilter, basket and shower screen. Effectively removes coffee oils and leaves parts looking like new.
