Does it damage wallpaper?

if removed properly, it does not.

can i use these for speaker wires? any idea how much mm is the internal width of the clip?

It's pretty less, its approx around 2 to 3mm only and not more.

Does it damage the wall paint?

Not really. If you have a good quality paint which is not more than 5 years old and it is plastic paint....then it won't damage the paint

Can it hold clothes like jeans and kurtis without falling off from the wall?

No this very small sized hooks. You'll have to buy medium sized hooks for them
