I got these as a quick fix for my husband’s newly remodeled basement area ... mainly because he was tired of staring into the abyss of the window well. For something labeled “temporary,” these blinds seriously over-delivered. I ordered the dark gray, and it's rich. Not that dull, dusty gray, it has depth. It actually matches the decor perfectly, and unless you walk up and touch them, you’d never guess they’re made of paper. I’ve used the standard white paper blinds before, and these are on a whole different level. Installation was a breeze. Just peel the adhesive strip and stick. I had to reposition them a couple times (I’m not a perfectionist... but I play one during home projects), and to my surprise, they still held strong after being restuck. Very forgiving, which I appreciate. Definitely buy wider than you need, and then trim them down with a sharp utility knife. I used a metal ruler to keep the lines straight, and just kept slicing through the layers little by little. It’s not hard, just be patient and take your time. They come a bit “scrunched,” so I clipped a ruler to the bottom to help them hang straight. Worked like a charm. I’ll probably leave it on for a few days. I really wish these came in navy (hint...hint) because I’d love to use them in another space. But for now, these dark gray ones are doing the job and looking great in the one area. Super happy with the price, the look, and the functionality. Highly recommend if you need a sleek, budget-friendly window fix!

Good quality. Handy to use. Inexpensive and a good value. I have 5 of these shade in my living room and bedrooms. Love how well they filter the sunlight and protect furniture from the sun. The paper type fabric is very strong and durable. Only one of the shades did not want to stick and that was because the window frame where the shade was attached was not as wide as the width of the top of the shade. Love the colors the shades come in. The shades are easy to trim if trimming is necessary. We live in a rural area, closest neighbor is more than a mile away; we did not have any window coverings; however, my west windows in the early spring bring way too much bright sunlight in and distort colors on the TV screens. These shades work perfectly. There are 2 clothes pin like clips enclosed to clip the shades to whatever length you need. I am planning to buy more,

I needed a darker blind by my work computer and this worked perfectly! When it’s clipped up, you can barely see it, and it provides pretty much a full blackout when down. Easy to install and renter friendly!

This is amazing. I have a window that an A/C unit goes into in the summer and was having trouble finding a replacement for the blind that broke after twenty years. Enter the Self Adhesive Temporary Blinds. It was the easiest imaginable to install. No cutting, no drilling, just pull off the tape and stick it on the top molding of the window you want. Let it hang, use a blow dryer or steamer to smooth out the crease where it's folded for shipping. You can then fold and clip the length you want. I fold it down to the top of the A/C in the summer and let it hang all the way down during the winter when it's put away. I really like these, because I don't have to worry about hanging expensive drapes that might get damaged. It covers up an unsightly view and still allows the light to come through. I use it on the North side window, for those reasons. I love it. One word of advice, make sure you measure the outside molding around the window and not the inside of the window you will hang it from. It's easier to make sure it will fit if you measure twice. I love love love this window shade! I was skeptical at first, but I put up some sheers that I loved and I was uneasy about someone being able to see in. I'm 68 years old and I knew I couldn't install an actual window blind by myself. After searching for alternatives. I came across these paper window shades. I watched the videos about installation of them. They seemed awful easy and looked nice. So, I bought these. They were super affordable and delivery was next day. Opening the box I was a little nervous as to how thin they were. But after checking them out, they seem to have some other type of material that makes them tough to tear. So, I held them up to my window and they were a bit wide. However, they were super easy to trim to fit the window. The adhesive strip seems strong but I guess I'll see how long they stay up. All in all, from opening the box, trimming the shade and putting them up, it was probably 10 minutes! They are super lightweight, so it makes them very easy for us "weaklings" ☺️ to lift them and hold them up while pressing the adhesive against the window frame. After letting them down to where I wanted them and pulling my curtains back, they look very neat and hang very nicely. I would recommend that you let them hang a but before installing them, to get the fullness of the length. Also, you may want to order one a few inches longer than you need as these don't really extend to the full length. But mine went as far as I needed them to and fit nicely in my window. They loom just light a window blind unless you inspect them closely. They look nice from the outside as well. Not cheap at all. They come with two clips that allow you to raise them in different shapes as stated in the ad. Overall, I can honestly state that I am more than pleased with the quality, price, ease of installation and appearance. These are great because if they don't come in a size you need for a smaller window, they can be cut down to size and just stuck right up. I'm also ordering one for my odd size window. These aren't light filtering. But I only wanted them as privacy. I'm very pleased and highly recommend!

I need blinds for weird windows on my front door. These work so well and still get light in as needed. Easy to use and cut to size.

Updated: have 6 of these now, creases do not come out even after hanging for months, adhesive has failed on 4 of them. Five stars for blue, love them and perfect for my purposes (as a layer under my curtains). My curtains are not lined so in afternoon sun hits and can be very bright thru the fabric, these blue blinds do the trick, not blackout but offer a filter to diffuse the piercing light. Super easy to put up and cut to size (not scissors, but exacto knife). Don't know about long term adhesive qualities but they are sticking fine for now. Also ordered grey but returning, they have FOIL backing, my bad for not noticing that before ordering. I like the blinds and this was my second order. too bad they do not have a grey with no foil backing.....

I actually really do love these blinds. I've had them up for several months now - they look great and do a good job with filtering the light as needed. While these are technically a temporary solution, I plan on keeping them for as long as possible since I don't want to spend the money on permanent window treatments. They work pretty well for my needs at this time. I've taken one star off of my rating because of the sizing. Please keep in mind that these are pleated - when you let them hang naturally, they are shorter than the measurement listed. It seems as the measurement is based on the material being stretched out completely. Because of this, mine are a bit short.
