Don't Waste Your Time
This pen is best summarized in two words, low quality. The product isn't a scam, and the description doesn't lie about its functions, it just does the job poorly. The pen looks good and feels alright in the hand, but the electronics and build quality (the important things) are not adequate for regular use. I've actually had two of these pens now. The first arrived and the plastic cone surrounding the black tip arrived cracked. The plastic on either end of the metal pen body feels cheap, like something you'd get at an arcade. In my brief test with this first pen, the lines I drew were jittery and far from smooth. I blamed that on the damaged tip of the pen and got another. My second pen arrived undamaged, but still didn't draw smoothly, exhibiting the same jitteriness as the first one. I decided I could live with it and tried to use the pen. 4 days later, this pen has suddenly stopped working entirely. The light still comes on, so the pen is charged, but even after multiple computer restarts, the pen refuses to communicate with my Windows Surface. Just spend an extra $10 and get yourself a half-decent pen.

Used and not at all abused however the tip just doesn't get it done anymore so she moved on to a new one of a different color for excitement

Great Surface Pen Alternative - Smooth, Accurate, and Rechargeable
’ve been using the Surface Pen Stylus with my Surface Pro 8 for a couple of weeks now, and I’m thoroughly impressed with its performance. It’s a fantastic alternative to the original Microsoft Surface Pen, offering nearly the same experience at a fraction of the cost. The 4096 pressure sensitivity is excellent, making drawing, note-taking, and precision work smooth and responsive. The pen responds well to different levels of pressure, giving my strokes the level of detail I need when working on illustrations or documents. Plus, the palm rejection works flawlessly—no accidental marks even when my hand rests on the screen. One of my favorite features is that it’s rechargeable. Not having to worry about swapping out batteries is super convenient, and the battery life has been great so far. The magnetic attachment is another nice touch, allowing me to store it on the side of my Surface when not in use—no more losing my stylus! The package includes four replaceable nibs, which is a bonus for different drawing or writing experiences. The pen feels well-balanced and comfortable in hand, and it pairs seamlessly with all my Surface devices. Overall, this stylus performs exceptionally well for its price, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable and affordable Surface Pen alternative.

Works great! At first....
Pen is recognized by the my Surface without any set up. Having an internal battery is amazing. Worked fine for first 2 months of use. Then one day, I try writing with it using One Note, and the pen Surface doesn't recognize any writing input. It sees the tip on the screen, and recognizes button input. But putting the nib on the screen and trying to write or draw doesn't work.

Works just as well as the more expensive one...
This pen has a nice feel and looks attractive as well. The silver finish is lot easier to find when dropped or misplaced versus the black one. I lost a previous one on an airplane for that reason. Unlike the manufacturer's model, it won't charge while stowed on the keyboard, but it does everything else it should. I like that one of the buttons is programmed to be an eraser so you don't have to flip it to erase something. It comes with 3 extra nibs and I was able to fully charge it in about 30 minutes. The magnet seems quite a bit stronger than the one I had previously which is nice. Instead of stowing the pen in the keyboard space, you can attach the pen to the side of your screen while working for easy access without worrying about it getting knocked off. The built-in palm rejection works beautifully. I never had to worry about writing errors while placing my hand fully on the screen.

does its job!!
works great with my surface pro 7+ no bells and whistles just robust and made of high quality and the touch accuracy is great. i use it to edit with photo shop and light room and it works well. definitely worth the price. i didn't think i would need a stylus pen but once i got this one and started using it, i can't stop.
