I bought this a month ago for my dad. Here is a detailed review: Pros: 1. The device is sleek. Very compact. You can actually carry it in your wallet but dont. 2. The app is amazing. It is fast, intuitive and fast. 3. Readings are accurate. Verified with doctors reading. 4. Easy to use. My dad got a hang of it from the first day. Uses regularly now. 5. Priced pretty low. Cost effective in terms of other glucometers. Other glucometers are expensive afterwards. But strips are cost-effective here. Cons: 1. The device looks a little delicate. Would advise to carry the bag which comes with it. 2. Comes with 20 strips. Gets over within 10 days. Buy extra strips on the combo offer. Conclusion: The pros overweight the cons and just looks like a perfect glucometer for my dad.

No doubt that device is sleek and good to use. Knowing how to put blood is required as its not same as some other devices in market. Watch video carefully else you would land up with error message 'insufficient blood' with few drops of blood wasted. They provide the complete kit for use including lancets and lancet device. Even the refill strips are accompanied with lancets of 28 gauge, so they are akin to Accuchek Soft lancet which is again 28 gauge. For improvements, there are two thing which I did not like and want them to change in their software application. 1) My reading is my prerogative and it should be allowed to be deleted by me if i want, but that is not possible. Sometimes if one has to take reading for some one else , only way is to create another account on other phone or redo your test as tests can overwrite earlier test! 2) My health data should not be synced with BeatO on their server without my permission. App should give an option to switch it off completely. This option is not available and all data is consistently synced to BeatO server even if i don't want. Health information has implication on medical and life insurance and such information is private information. I puchased device from some where else and got a good deal around 814/- , buying 100 strips is also costing me 990, so 9.9 Rs per strip is pretty okay.

I purchased Dnursre smart glucometer. When i started to proceed with the procedure of knowing the blood glucose,(fasting)in following steps. Downloaded the Dnurse app,put the glucometer in the required slot of my phone and pressed the start button, I was asked to insert the strip into the glucometer,which I did,but the screen did not go beyond that,which was the next step ie appearance of the blood drop, to be applied on the strip,but the glucometer just showed that the battery of the product low.I checked the operation booklet at page no.31 it was stated that if the glucometer show low battery,it should be intimated to the company on the given tel.number about the product not functioning properly,the lady asked me to uninstall the app and install again,I did that but the glucometer stopped at the same spot and the next step ie application oh the blood drop on the strip did not happen. Then the customer care lady asked me to make a video of how I would proceed to check my blood glucose, I got frustrated and fed up with the explanation of the customer care service and want to return the product.

I have been communicating with BeatO customer care several times. Customer care executives are courteous, but their Technical team and IT support, lacks ability and care to resolve issue. Product is good, but App is not properly supported considering customer needs. The promise is not delivered, App has many flaws and doesn't deliver. They are too eager to market their products thru App rather than resolving issues

All strips are damaged. I bought 150 strips together. Initially, 3 out of 10 strips damaged Now all damaged I spoke to customer care many times Each time i was promised to be replaced with new set of strips Nothing happened

When I purchased this item, I was in doubt whether the product will serve its purpose as it was a new design to be used with smartphones. But still I went ahead as i am always interested in trying new things. To my surprise I found it extremely accurate and very convenient to use because of its compact size. The readings can be stored in the smart phone and sent to email in an easily readable format which is convenient to examine trend of blood sugar. There is also graphical representation of blood glucose trend. All these features make it stand apart from conventional Gluco meters. And all this you get with a reasonable cost. I highly recommend this to future buyers of glucometers.

Good it keeps your suger level records But BEAT O people goes after you via multiple phone calls after u but this

Beato smartphone glucometer- I heard alot of good stuff about this product. So, i give it a try. And it turned out soo good for me. It is a great portable device. Gives instant results and it comes with 20 strips, 20 lancets and a plunger with long battery life. Easy to use and carry. It provides quite accurate reading about my sugar level. It also has a diabetic educator, which helps you to deal with the problems like what to eat, what to do and stuff like that. This product just make my life more easier. Highly recommended by my side. If anyone is planning to buy a product like that, just order it then with no doubts and all. Totally worth for money...
