Good buy! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Clear Transmitted and Received Sound; Easy to Use *by on Reviewed in the United States February 3, 2026* Based on the 1 and 2 star reviews, I decided to wait a month before I gave my review. I am very satisfied with the phone’s performance and its easy of use. The transmitted sound is clear, and the received sound is also clear. Vtech also provides a printed User’s Manual, which is a rare thing these days. All that being said, I do have a few comments.Photo #1 shows the Vtech shipping carton as received. Fortunately, there was no damage to the contents inside. But Amazon decided the Vtech carton was adequate for shipping and didn’t require their carton.Photo #2 shows the hand set mounted in its docking station, and it’s a very nice-looking presentation, if you do not include the wall mount. Photo #3 shows the hand set in its docking station using the wall mounting attachment. Pretty ugly! To further make my point, Photo #4 shows just the docking station and wall mount. It appears the wall mount has a multifunctional application, as suggested by “A” arrows pointing in one direction and “B” arrows pointing in the opposite direction. As a cost savings, you now notice the ugly wall mount and not the attractive phone and docking station. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Replaced a similar set that lasted well over a decade *by on Reviewed in the United States March 13, 2025* I had a VTech set of four portable phones and answering system for around 15 years. About halfway through that period I replaced the rechargeable batteries to restore their full ability to hold a charge. Finally the base unit stopped working and could no longer detect or transmit the dial tone. I was pleased to see that I could buy a set of four phones without an answering system, since my home phone line is an Ooma system that has voicemail. This set plugs into the Ooma and allows me to position phones throughout our 3-story home. It has a larger, more legible screen than the prior set and a few extra features like Bluetooth. I installed it today and would give it 5 stars if there had been a way to transfer contacts from the old to the new set. Instead I had to manually program the contact names and numbers, ugh. Other than that little one-time chore, these look and work great.
