Super effective for killing fleas! I have an opportunist former outside cat that loves to run out whenever she can. She always brings fleas in the house and it’s a nightmare to treat the house along with my 4 cats. I’ve tried collars, and the topical ointment on the fur but they all have sensitive skin so this was a great alternative. Works really fast! 30 min later my babies go from scratching to napping.

I used PetArmor for our two kittens' first year of life with no issues, but recently switched to NexStar because it advertised added repellency and better protection. What an ENORMOUS mistake. Our cats were scratching more and more but we never saw any signs of actual fleas. However, within two weeks of applying it for the second month, I started finding tons of black, spiral-shaped flea dirt all over my cat’s bedding. I even found a live flea on her, despite being treated right on schedule, just TWO WEEKS AGO. For comparison, our outdoor-only cat (who WAS getting Nexstar as well but accidentally got left over PetArmor this past month) recently went from an immense infestation to now having no visible fleas or flea dirt at all. That pretty much confirmed for me that NexStar just isn’t doing its job, and PetArmor is. Side note: One of our cats also ripped out all of her fur where I had placed this the first time around. I should've taken that as a sign. I've already switched back to PetArmor.

For some reason we have had a hard year with fleas and mosquitoes in our county this season, even with us treating our yard several times and keeping flea meds on our animals (8 indoor cats, 3 indoor dogs, husband works at a zoo we live in one we also have a bird) we have had no luck at keeping the fleas completely off. Knowing how well their other product works Capstar, I had high hopes for this product. After applying it a flea combed the cats regularly but I always found several alive fleas and my cats were still scratching, fleas must love black cats because they are the worst with them! After it was not working I gave all of them Capstar which works for 24hrs to kill all fleas (works great) I watch the fleas go away, only to watch them come back. I would have put more flea meds on them but it had only been two weeks since the last treatment and I have one cat you would think you were torturing her when you het near her with it; if I am putting it or any flea meds on another cat, her eyes start blinking and watering and she runs off. I do question the amount of meds in the dose since it doesn’t go by different weights I have a couple 20lb cats. With all of that said it just maybe the fleas in our area are just becoming immune to the products currently on the market, I remember when frontline no longer worked for us in 2003.

I’m definitely buying again. This works. And I approve!! I have 6 cats and this works great for all fleas, ticks, mosquito, mites, lice. And probaably more that I’m forgetting but definitely a great product. And it actually works. Yes yes yes. Kinda pricy. But I got it on discount and I’m glad I did. It’s a real good product. Dried in about 45 min total. But it’s a small amount so it’s not worrisome. It’s not like dripping off them Or anything. Last about 30-32 days not really a smell!
