Extremely useful, easy to use and a must for BMW owner!

I own a 2006 bmw 750li e66 and had a faulty electronic parking brake. I decided to try and fix this issue myself as I found out that an upgraded gear for the parking brake was available and it was an easy fix. I heard that the code needs to be reset in order for the new part to work. I didn't wanted to take the car to a mechanic to only reset or remove one single code and get charged $75+ to do so. I did some research and found this scanner. I have it a try and for my surprise this little scanner does a lot! Not only I fixed the parking break, I also was able to pin point where the problem was on my air bag light error in my dashboard. As a matter of fact, it even showed a code for a A/C actuator/flap that I already knew was bad, giving specific information about it. I also tried this scanner in a 2016 4 series, a 2005 6 series and a 2011 x6 and it performs great! As a bmw owner, I'm very happy with this purchase and will recommend it to anyone. I still need to try it on other european cars and domestic ones to see how it performs.

This WILL NOT REGISTER A NON-BMW BATTERY. Otherwise it 's good as a code reader.

On my 2001, BMW Z3, this scanner gave me an error message that it is not compatible with this car. The promotional material for this meter says it does all code reading for post 1996 BMWs. I need to read and delete brake ABS codes. This is the third scanner bought and returned because of failure to read ABS codes for my car. Promotional material by sellers and manufactures give very scant info on incompatibility.

This scanner is very good, it can access most top level codes, it was used for DPF Fault, ERG, battery settings. It has a live data as well which is good for checking exhaust gas temperature and back flow pressure, not bad for the price.

I have bought it to reset CBS on my front brakes as I have accidentally tried to reset the service lights through the dashboard too early and it has given me a straight red alarm on my F31. It was 2 minutes to reset it, so it did what i bought it for, but it is capable for much more. Looks like a quality built piece of kit.

Very good scanner for the price In my case I had to return it, as it wouldn’t do what I needed and as no one mentions I’ll say it to save others time It will do 70% of tasks but won’t go into programming or in my case it won’t reset the vanos sensors, which is why I needed one Hope this helps someone as It says it does valvetronic on description

Gave it one star for sheerness as I have no idea what that is. It did exactly what I needed it to do which was clear the airbag warning on my R52 Mini. It was also interesting to see the other things it capable of and information you can gather from your car. I've give 3 stars for value for money as I have no idea how it last over time- this could have been the one and only time it works perfectly 😜

Needed this to reset my airbag light, did the job and is capable of doing much more.
