Best headlight upgrade you can do - H11 Led
These LED Headlight bulbs were to replace my Xenon HID Retrofits, the bulb and inverter quality on HID has become so unreliable i thought LED was worth trying. Boy was i glad i did, as to be expected with a brand like Phillips the build of the bulbs and drivers are very well constructed second to none. Provided you have space in the headlight housing they are quite simply to fit and they do fit very well and tight in the holders (Note - if you have a Canbus system you may need dedicated wiring or resistors to stop flickering or bulb out errors) I have made my own headlight loom I used for the HIDs and run relays for the lights so no issues. These bulbs give instant full light with no start up delay and an outstanding beam pattern both in width and length far superior to Halogen and even my Xenons, the light colour is pure white no Blue, and to be honest blue light on tarmac black roads is rubbish so these are perfect, driving at night is now a real pleasure. I do not expect any issues with MOT testers as to be honest they would have no idea they are led you cannot see the bulbs in the projector lights and the beam tests perfectly on a beam tester. Highly recommended

Very Bright Crisp White Light.
I installed the “previous iteration” 4000k bulbs in my Jaguar XF. They were difficult to install, but amazing - very bright. After 12 months, one of the led’s failed (fan was still spinning) - so much for the 12 year claim. I decided to try again with the new 6000k bulbs. I’m happy to report that they are noticeably brighter than the previous ones. “Classic Car LED’s” on e-bay have the correct adapter clips for the XF. There are TWO different types, one for dipped beam, and one for main beam. I used Loctite epoxy metal adhesive to glue the clips to the underside of the bulbs “header-ring”. Result is a very crisp white light that illuminates the road even better than the previous version (which was already pretty good).

Good lights, fiddly to fit.
A right fiddle to fit, would recommend professional fitting as the heat sink fan gets in the way of the bulb retaining clip and is a real pain on installation. Light distribution is similar to my old halogen bulbs but much whiter and slightly brighter. Drove home from work, first journey and wasn't "flashed" by oncoming traffic. Beam pattern close to factory halogen arrangement but don't expect floodlights, just a slight improvement in light output. 👍

Excellant light output and worth the effort to get working correctly
I fitted these bulbs to a 2018 Citroen Spacetourer. The light output from these lights is amazing, and work perfectly with the reflector housing with the correct cut off points etc. Both the dipped beam and main beam on my car our H7 which both brought different issues upon initial fitting. Firstly the dipped beam, on installing the lights strobed as soon as the engine was turned on, i purchased the recommended phillips can bus adaptors but they did not rectify the problem. I then purchased Novsight Decoder for half the price of the phillips one and this made the lights work perfectly. I have read in many places that the phillips can bus adaptors are not fit for purpose. Full beam installation, This went without a hitch and the lights work perfectly without any adapters except for a roughly 1 second delay from switch on. This is not a problem except for example you are flashing someone out of a junction then you need to hold the stalk a bit longer for the lights to actually light up. This was rectified by again installing the Novsight decoder which made them flash instantly. All in all an expensive upgrade but miles better than any conventional/chinese bulb you may purchase. Highly recommend!

Great Product
They have made a difference to B-roads at night, The standard bulbs have always been a concern me for my 2009 Jaguar XFS 3.0 since changing the standard bulbs out to the Phillips gen2 LED car Headlight Bulb (H7). My B-road night driving feels a lot safer I can’t say if you will notice the difference driving in urban areas due to street lighting and other sources of light. they are UK LEGAL i had my MOT this year 2020 passed no problem and they do make a difference. If you have a Jag or any other mark for that matter I would suggest that you check your setup at the rear of your headlights as the clip that holds the standard bulbs in place is different to the Phillips gen2 LED car Headlight Bulb (H7) I had to buy to 2 types of adapters for main and low beam as both are H7 to hold them in place I was able to buy both clips from Classic Car LEDs Ltd. They are easy to fit just take your time and then stand back and see the difference they make.

DON'T LAST LONG
Bought those expecting premium product, they do light nicely but today almost 2 months after fitted one of bulbs stopped working suddenly. Bit pricey to be changed every 2 months.

An improvement, but bulbs produce RF emission which interferes with car radio in low signal areas.
I purchased these as a 'last ditch' attempt to get decent dipped beam illumination on my 2001 VW Passat which is fitted with projector lenses. I'd previously tried eBay 'cheapies' which, for £7, did a reasonable job, but they were still not as bright as I would have liked. So I bit the bullet and shelled-out £114 on these, the vastly more expensive alternative being to upgrade the car which I'm reluctant to do. The fan and heatsink unit is threaded to the main bulb body, however the mounting remains incompatible with the standard headlight, it having a proprietary connector into which the bulb should be inserted prior to that being engaged with the headlamp unit. As with the 'cheapies' I improvised a fixing using cable ties which seems to be OK. However, again as with the cheapies, the heat sink protrudes rearwards meaning that the rubber cap on the rear of the headlamp cannot be replaced. One further issue is that, unlike the cheapies, there is no mesh or other protection over the fan spinning on the back of the heatsink so any wires or whatever could potentially touch and stall the fan. I tested the bulbs on the bench prior to installation and they drew around 1.7A @ 13.8V: the cheapies drew 1.2A so I was expecting that the Philips items would be brighter and indeed they are. The question is, are they bright enough in my application? Well I would say yes, but only marginally. Coming around the M42 on a dark and rainy night, the light from cars behind me still shows brighter on the road ahead than my own lights. How much of this is due to the bulbs and how much is due to the notoriously poor Passat B5.5 headlights I cannot say. The bottom line is that I will stick with them for now. OK now to the most unexpected bit. As installed in the Passat the bulbs produce a radio frequency emission. I don't know whether this emission is conducted (i.e. down the wires) or radiated (i.e. into free space). One consequence of this is that if I'm in a lower signal area - which I am, most of the time - the generally poor by modern standards Gamma radio on the Passat is swamped with interference when on FM. Turn the headlights off and all is fine, but back on again and all I get is mush. I have contacted Philips about this and the following is an extract from their reply: "This is a known issue that some 11972XUWX2 gen 2 are experiencing, and we currently don't have a viable solution for this model." They then offered me gen 1 (as opposed to gen2 which these are) bulbs as a replacement. I've gone back to them again to say that I don't want to go to an earlier technology but want the current bulbs without radio frequency interference. As yet they have not responded. I know something of electronics and EMC and this problem seems strange to me. I can only assume that within the bulb lies an active current limiter of some description probably using switching technology but which has not been designed to be EMC compliant. For an electronics giant such as Philips this is, in my view, reckless. I'm going to investigate more and I may try to filter the interference out. Either way, based upon Philips' claim for the product, their reputation and the extremely high price, no way should this be necessary. Update Feb 2021: after much further investigation on the bench, such as fitting ferrite chokes etc. I contacted Philips again for assistance. They provided me with some high capacity clip-on ferrites which I tried with the bulb installed in the car. However, like others I tried, these ferrites were audibly saturating - they were actually vibrating so much RF was being absorbed - and the improvement on radio reception was minimal. I produced a video of this phenomenon and sent it to Lumileds and ultimately an alternative replacement product was received. However, here's the most important takeaway from this whole experience. You may recall that I was trying to improve the projector dipped headlights of my 2001 VW Passat? Well I found a YouTube video explaining that degradation of projector headlamps over time is primarily due to degradation of the reflector surface within the headlamp unit itself. So I 'bit the bullet' and replaced both headlight units with OE Hella units. Result: acceptable visibility with the regular H7 halogen bulbs. So I didn't need the LED upgrade at all!! I will ultimately fit the replacement LED bulbs but, the benefit may well be secondary. Hope this helps.

Potenza illuminazione.

DOSEN'T LAST LONG. UNRELIABLE. TOO EXPENSIVE FOR SUCH A POOR QUALITY.
I paid extra hoping to get the best quality product. BIG MISTAKE! First bulb burned out in just ONE year, another one in two years from purchase date. Almost $500 CAD altogether with taxes, delivery fee and CANBUS adapter (MUST be purchased) for a set of 2 bulbs? That's insane! Totally disappointed...
