My optometrist recommends this as part of my dry eye care. After using a moist beauty wipe to remove eye makeup, I use this product and still manage to get off some additional mascara that I didn't realize was there. I think the gel helps with that. The product came as described in proper packaging and proper size, same as I buy from the optometrist office. It was less expensive here than my optometrist office. I will be buying again from this supplier when my current supply is done.
