Nothing Like The Movies

My heart is so full after reading this book. I love the first book so much, and reading the sequel made me realise just how much I love these characters. The second chance romance trope was written so well and I can gladly say that I’m now a fan of the trope (and any other trope) if it’s written by @lynnpainterbooks . Wes and Liz are perfect the way they are, but together, they are magic✨ This book takes place two years after their breakup, and I love that we got to read it from both the MC’s povs. We get to see how Wes yearns for Liz’s affection and how Liz is determined to keep him as far away from her as possible. Circumstances force them to work together, and you can feel the angst and yearning through the pages. This book is so beautiful, and I’m not sure my review will ever be enough to describe my love for it(you’ll have to read it to find out💗). It is so different from the first book and, we see how the characters have grown and matured, yet somehow they’re still the same Wes and Liz that we loved in the first book. I’d definitely recommend reading this if you loved the first book as much as I do💜

The book was in good condition and about the story.. it's well written but little boring in the beginning but ending was fast and both the characters are now mature.. but the chemistry between Wes and Liz that had in the first story is off in this story. the story is good overall .

It's delivered in the bet condition. Like I'm really happy with the quality.

I was excited to get this after i read 'Better than the movies' but it was kinda boring and I gave up reading it

Great young adult novel

Nothing Like the Movies by Lynn Painter was an absolute delight! I adored Liz and Wes! Their banter, heartbreak, and all the movie and song references were simply perfect. This book was such a cozy read, and I had so much fun experiencing their journey. It’s a beautifully crafted second-chance romance with a slow-burn dynamic that kept me hooked. The character development was phenomenal, and the supporting cast(Wes and Liz's friends and Wes's sister) added so much charm to the story. Every detail felt like a warm hug on a chilly winter day. I highly recommend giving this one a read, but make sure you pick up Better Than the Movies first if you haven’t already. As a sequel, this book picks up right where the first one left off, and you won’t want to miss a moment of the story!

very good book worth a read

I devoured Wes and Liz and I just loveeeed Wes…..after failing on so many books, this one was just a warm hug which I couldn’t stop reading since I picked the first one……although as a sucker for more I would have loved to see more of their story in epilogue…..only one thing that was left unanswered as per me is that..SPOILER ALERT….although Wes told liz about his feelings that they are since the beginnings and gonna stay but Liz’s doubt that he won’t repeat this again if anything happens remained uncleared…I would have loved if there was a closure on that doubt as well by Wes satisfying it for Liz. But all and all…..I loved it.

It's a freallly good book

Die Fortsetzung hat mich genauso begeistert wie Band 1. Charmante Figuren, viel Humor und romantische Momente – perfekt für alle, die leichte, unterhaltsame Romance mögen. Ich konnte das Buch kaum aus der Hand legen!
