Works fantastic

Launch is a major competitor in the low cost scanner territory. I typically use another brand of scanner that also makes drones so the interface and how some menus are laid out are different but it seems to function the same. It has expanded support for the battery module and the tpms module but I havent added those yet. The auto VIN feature is hit or miss on the annoyance level. It works but the slot machine noise gets old when its been running for a little bit. Touchscreen is clear and responsive, with tactile buttons you can use as a backup. I did see a camera built in too, havent tried that yet though. The blow mold case is a very good quality. For some that may not matter but I make sure to put my scanners back in their cases for the best protection while theyre not being used. If you need a solid Bi-directional scanner at a reasonable price then this is a good choice.

I bought the X431 crp919x in April of 2023. I have 31 resets still. This ad claims there is 35. When will I receive this important update? Thanks!This is a wonderful unit and has saved my whole family money.

For the money this does everything I need it to do and more. With 2 years of updates, you will have no problem with new vehicle models. Navigating through the screens is very easy and straight forward. We also do interior work so being able to rest the seat modules is great! Also, the gateway feature is nice to have on the newer tec and any upcharge you just pass onto the customer as they will have to pay that no matter where they go. All and all just a great little device. The only negative thing for me is the screen size however at this price point I think the sacrifice is worth it!

Wow bought this tool Jan 2024It's August 2024 it stopped working.It lost program I don't do a lot of auto work so I don't use it much but when I needed it I need it work. It's haven't been a year I won't buy launch tool again. I can say it did work good when it worked maybe I got a bad apple out bunch of , it out of the return date that sucks , Update is everyone 2 years but I didn't make a year tech support was not helpful I would like for something to change I would not buy againSo think before you buy launch tool

Upon arrival and opening the box, I was very hesitant. This scan tool has impressed me from the start. Being bidirectional like the more expensive scan tools. My other scan tool is a Maximus 4.0. On the OBD 2 vehicles this scanner provides the same data and functions as the Maximus. Sure its not wireless, neither is a Solus+ (retail is $3599.00). Great scan tool for the money.

The media could not be loaded. i have 8 scanners from snap on to autel to xtoolsthis thing is great it has everything you need to do from basic scan to graphing ECU coding you can program keys and disable lost ones i like the battery voltage monitoring with a real time dynamic graphicseasy and simple maintenance reset on european vehicles you can email a diag report to show your customerthe CAN FD runs on 64 bytes per frame compare to others @11you can record and replay data it has a front mounting camera also very coolbottom line under $600 bucks you are getting everything and more from thousand of dollars scannerGREAT GREAT UNIT
