I am just tickled pink!
I live about halfway between Ann Arbor and Detroit Michigan and I got 52 “over the air” channels! The installation was breeze, just took a few minutes. The hard part was trying to get my “Smarter Than Me” Samsung TV to look for a signal coming from the antenna port. It took me a couple of YouTube videos but finally got it. The picture quality was great and so much better than expected, but I am old enough to remember TV “rabbit ears,” and we would only get 6 channels and 4 more if you included UHF.... And yes, there was VHF & UHF ... and NO HD! This is just a backup system for me, as we now have a whole house generator, and the first time there was a power failure, we also lost our total cable system (must be on the same power grid), and this ticked me off. When I complained to the cable company, they wanted to rent me (for even more money) a battery/cell phone backup modem that was only good for 4 hours.... but the H with that.... This is MUCH better, and just a onetime few bucks up front. Placement of the antenna was extremely easy; I just placed it on the mantel of the fireplace as the TV sits just to the left of the fireplace. When not in use, I can take it down and store behind the TV. I might have gotten more channels with better placement, but I will never know, as 52 channels should keep me entertained during a power outage. The long cable and magnetic base are genuinely nice and might come in handy for some installations, but I did not have to use either! ... I would highly recommend, and happy FREE TV watching!

range is questionable
Not sure that it can pick up signals from far away. I have a Roku TV & installed the antenna. Had to make sure I went to internal selection for the correct way to select for the antenna to scan. I was able to do it & it did find me 8 channels. I am in a rural area with the closest broadcast city being 40 miles (Baton Rouge La.) & New Orleans area being 100 miles. The channels can change signal strength at time so you may need to move it at times. My main reason for the purchase is for power outages. I do have cable for internet with modem & when the power goes out I have no cable even with a home generator. I unplugged my power plugs for cable to mock a power outage & the channels stayed on. I don't know about HD quality with this but the picture is clear. Some pixelation at times & had to adjust it. For me I didn't think I would get 8 channels & so if power goes out at least I have something to watch. I will have to try different locations around the area of the tv to see which works best. So I am happy to have some form of tv for the next power outage.

Great and powerful little antenna with easy set up and small footprint
This is a great device! We replaced the older amazon flat surface one that we had posted to the wall and which tore off the plaster and paint when we had to move it or take it down. The setup was a breeze and it is a great feature that it uses the tv usb to charge so we don’t need to hog precious outlet space. Interestingly, although we live right in town, we couldn’t get any channels until we used the long distance tuner. We got over 50 channels including NBC, ABC, CBS and FOX. No pixilation. We rarely watch live tv, so the small footprint is a plus and when we want to watch live tv, we can use the lengthy cord to stick it to the vent using the magnetic base high on the ceiling for the best reception and then take it down when no in use so we don’t have a cord draping down the wall. So glad to have a viable workaround to cable or paying exorbitant streaming fees to be able to watch the 9ers on FOX.

A cheap solution if you don't have cable or a smart TV.
It's ok. Nothing amazing. I got 50 channels from auto tuning, but I can't seem to tune in the local ABC channel for some reason. It will get CBS, NBC, and Fox, and the CW, and dozens of others. Even PBS. I'm pretty sure it's not 4k. But you do get pretty strong HD and 5.1 sound. I paid less than $30 for this and I'm glad it wasn't more. So if you don't have internet or cable, this might be a cheap solution. But not a great one. Edit: The more I play around with this antenna, the less I hate it. Apparently it's almost impossible to get the low VHF signal of 6ABC in my area unless you have a massive metal VHF antenna. So I'm not too disappointed this thing doesn't pick it up. I don't get my local PBS station, but apparently I can get PBS from New Jersey, many more miles away. Which makes no sense. So you can get a good number of channels with this thing. If I put it in the window, I can get more, like 50+.

Did not work for me
I’m giving it 3 starts because it was really easy to install and connect to the TV, however it didn’t not work. I live in San Diego county, so maybe the signal is not strong in my area. But the antenna scanned digital and analog channels and did not find any. I didn’t want to spend the time troubleshooting with support and delay the return, I’ve used antennas in the past and you troubleshoot to improve reception and/or add more channels, not from the start! It might have also been the unit I received, the way it was packaged looked like it had been opened/returned already.

Works good and is easier than a flat panel - then why did I give it a 4?
I have been using antennas for all my TVs since they switched over to digital signals for years now - and I am 30 miles from Philadelphia- My Previous home was 10 miles from NYC - so in NYC areaI got well over 60 channels- Here in Pa 40 something- Depending on your viewing preferences many channels are not very interesting- however I am an old guy and there is a lot of old school shows available. In both cases I get/got the Network Channels- which I use 90% of the time- we also use the internet for Netflix etc. Anyway back to this antenna- It works fine, but I gave it a 4 as it does get as many channels as my previous antennas - My previous antennas were flat panel and the type I had previously purchased were not available so I thought I would try this type - which I am going to call pedestal. I have tried it in 3 different locations- same results. The positive side to this antenna is - you do not have to hang it like the flat panel, and it even worked in my basement.

Buen artículo. Usado dn la ciudad y en interior y registrando canales digitales de TV abierta localizando 24. En plataformas y canales de cable requiere contrato adicional.
