This lives up to the hype and marketing, delivering some of the fastest write speeds you'll see in an affordable thumb drive. What I also like is that there's no wasted space with utilities or partitions; you pretty much get the entire 256GB for storage. That said, it truly is a thumb drive from a size standpoint -- it's about the size of an average person's thumb. That's not unreasonable historically, but it's big now when you have others making high-storage drives about the size of your thumb NAIL. I couldn't dock it a point for this because it obviously is irrelevant to performance, but it's just something I couldn't help but observe. This obviously could never be used as a plug and stay drive.

Some may complain about the size of it, but I find it less likely to be lost because of its size and color. Seems to be built decently rugged, so I don't worry about dropping it or anything. Has a high transfer rate so large transfers complete rapidly. One issue I have not run into with this one that I get on my smaller units is heat. My smaller units heat up during transfers to a level where touching it is difficult. I have not noticed any heat issues when using this unit and I'm regularly transferring 1000s of photos from my phone to my work computer. It has both USB A & USB C connectivity built in which is great since fewer laptops are coming with USB-A ports, plus I can directly connect it to my phone or tablet (See further info). One thing you may see someone complain about is that it doesn't connect to their phone correctly. This isn't true IF THE PHONE IS NOT IN A CASE. I've seen this issue with charging cables too, along with other storage devices, where THE CASE interferes with the USB unit connecting properly. Sometimes it's the thickness of the case, or the size of the access hole in the case for the charging port. The best solution for such issues is a dongle if you are doing a lot of connections through a case. Love this thing! Super-fast transfer speeds. I'm hiping the sliding USB-A to USB-C holds up. It seems solid and a good quality product so far with many times of updating data on it already.

This product should be called “Move On” because that’s what consumers should do when looking for a flash drive. This device was great up through five months of use. The drive’s connectors stopped ejecting from the base. Depending on the device you are connecting to, you have to hold the eject switch and slowly insert it to the device. I tried contacting the manufacturer through email and through their chat support service which I never got a response from either. Instead, I kept receiving promotional emails from them. Seriously? you expect me to buy more product faulty product from you? Like I said, Move on from this product.

Drive passed initial testing. It feels solid, and the yellow color stands out, so it won't be easy to lose. This really is a great little flash drive. PROS- 2 TB storage is great in such a small form factor. Speed is fantastic. Moving large video files is fast and easy. Construction seems solid, and yellow color makes this hard to misplace. CONS- Often it needs a break after 30 minutes to an hour. I thought this was just the case when editing video files and accepted it for what it was, but it can also overheat from a simple text document. If you want a flash drive to permanently leave plugged in, this might not be the one. The TSA scanners love to flag this thing as a potential knife because of the slide. I've never had it successfully go through security without additional inspection. If you travel a lot, this may be worth considering.

Very few flash drives out there have the quality build of the MOVE SPEED Brand. from the materials they use to the quality of the memory, this drive shines. Super fast and incredibly durable. If you use flash drives on a daily bases, this is by far the best value to date. DO NOT CHEAP OUT on other brands. MOVE SPEED may be a little bit more expensive, but they are indeed worth every penny.

This is my new travel stick for media. The speed can handle most movies at 1080. I’ve had some stuttering from some of the more modern releases. 2160 is tough and usually requires a slower frame rate.
