I chill easily and also use heat to help with my severe arthritis. Long plug in cord is helpful in case the nearest electric outlet is a ways away. 12 heat settings on an illuminated control that are easy to see and adjust. - Comfort: So warm, comfortable, and cozy you won't want to take this electric blanket off! The blanket is soft and lightweight. Heat is evenly distributed throughout the blanket. - Appearance: The pebble colored I ordered is very pretty and will blend with any decor. - Use: This twin size is very handy and versatile. Great for cuddling up at night on a chair of chair and ottoman when reading, doing crossword puzzles, or watching TV at night (see night photo). Great for traditional bed use on one side of a king sized bed, for a person such as myself who likes bedding to be much warmer than my husband does. - Value: The current $49.28 price is a terrific value. I love this blanket so much that I have already ordered a second blanket! I highly recommend this product.

A good, lightweight blanket that is plenty warm. We've now used ours for two winters and are very pleased with it. A blanket or comforter over it is necessary to keep the heat on your body and not out into the room.

Works well, even on low setting, to warm up bed and sleep under. Electric wiring doesn't come all the way to edges of blanket, so sides, top and bottom aren't heated.

The good part is that the blanket heats nicely. The bad part is that it looks and feels flimsy and cheap, and not too pleasant to the touch. It’s very light weight-almost too light. It reminds you of a gift you’d get for donating to a charity.

I bought this to replace the old one I had. It’s 12 levels of heat but it takes a bit to warm up. Price point is ok. It’s fleece like—so it’s soft and light. I haven’t washed it in the laundry yet so I don’t know the sturdiness.

Great product, works well. Great price. It has 6 levels of heat and turns off after a few hours. I bought it for my mother, who was in a hospital bed. It fit the bed well. Though Mom is now in her own bed I'll use this blanket when I wash her heated throw blanket.

A really nice heated blanket that can bake you if you need to. Well, I don't know about literal baking, but it puts out some good heat even at lower levels. It's not as thick as some of these blankets, but it doesn't feel like it isn't warm enough even if off. It has safety features, whatever they say on the package. If you need a solid heated blanket, I'd pick this up. I'd take one as a gift too.

I'd begun this with a 4 star rating, but after over a month's use I bumped it down a star. The good: Blanket is comfortable and there's little interference from the built-in heating wires. On some blankets the wires are clearly seen. Not so with this. Also, the controls are easy to use and understand. Press the power button to start up using previous settings. Adjustments are made for temperature with the button the left and timer settings with the button on the right. The issues: The controls make a loud clicking sound. Best to set everything up before you go to sleep because if you decide to turn it on or change it during the night you most likely will wake up your partner. (I know from experience!) It's loud! Think one of those party clickers. The other main problem is temperature variation over time. When I first used the blanked, a "2" setting was fine. I now start with a "5" but maybe an hour or two later I'll wake up very hot and turn it off or back down to "2". The house thermostat has stayed the same. Another issue is that the power light stays on (although dim) once the timer stops. At first I was thinking I'd somehow left the blanket on until I realized it was just how it works. You can turn the light off by pressing the power button. Not sure why the light can't just stay off when the blanket is off, but it is what it is. A lesser issue is the thinness of the blanket. The difference is noticeable by comparison to my old Sunbeam blanket that this one replaced. It may be an advantage in the summer, but for the winter I've added another thin blanket on top of this.
