Worry free watering
I don't usually write reviews but this little device is amazing. These work wonders, especially if your plants root section likes to go deep. I use these with water permeable pots. It is an amazing concept. Water is wicked up to the plants through large shoelace fabric so the plant drinks just what it needs. It also helps keep the top of the soil dry discouraging pests and insects. I cant recommend these enough! They kept my "broccoli" plants in good shape. This also greatly reduced watering issues as I would only have to come out and check the water levels occasionally. This was especially useful toward the vegetative stage of plant growth. At one point I was filling them with about a gallon a day and the plants kept drinking but no over watering! They come with gauges so all you have to do is a quick glance to see what the levels are at. The ONLY problem I had with them is that the cover of the opening where they fill does not fit very well and would take some time to set in there correctly. Honestly this really isn't a problem because once they are situated you can fill the reservoir without removing them. Even though i used them with broccoli plants they would also be great for tomatoes and other things. Just remember you need a perforated pot in order for them to work. Cannot recommend them enough. BUY BUY BUY!

Works well no effort watering done easy
Using the drip at the top for the tea and using the pure water for underneath so it’s getting pure water from the bottom. The tea from the top with the auto these bottoms are nice cause now you know and not missing out on any water that the plants going to need They can drink what it wants when it wants it And have no root rot I installed air stones in the bottoms of both of mine so the water gets air that sits in the bottom I don’t think you want stagnant water down there. I think bubbling it up aerating it makes it much better. I didn’t think the little strings would do any good but they’ve been in there for a few days. I picked it up to put the air stones in and noticed the water level is down so it is actually water is going into the plant from those strings and I did not cut off the ends cause all they are shoelaces. I’m thinking about putting up some thicker ones drill some holes with a drill and order some more wick 1/4. Inch wick ,1 pod used more water than the other and the visual float level worked well , I am impressed by how much water was missing in just a few days and I flooded the plant separate when I filled the pods ,so 1plant drinks more than the other ok time to train them—— good and very clean system , love the idea that they sell a pump to recycle the liquid back up ,I already had a self watering drip system and a air pump,so far I think it works well keeping plants happy and smiling green ,not sure if I can add nutrients to the reservoir ? Might clog wicking action just using water for now to be safe it’s a big relief yes a big big relief knowing that it’s getting the water it needs I am using living soil coco chor and perlite and a tea made from home grown organic fertilizer feed from the top , I try to match the drip with the evaporation of dry top , when top goes dry I increase water time on if too wet decrease, now it’s set to 2drips per plant 2min every 6 hours ,,WITH THESE PODS YOU CAN JUST FILL AND LET IT GO FOR A WEEK OR MORE I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT,made well YOU GET A 4 pack I only wanted 1 but glad I got a 4 pack you will be too yes 5 stars love these and I must say every thing that this company makes has been hands down made well and priced right this is A 6 star company great products—update after 3 months usage plants doing great sucking 1/2 gallon water a day each plant , roots grew on to wicks and grew into holes past wick just started to add calcium and magnesium to water when low going into flower now , flowers coming out good so far , takes up room in tent but nice product -after months of use and a few grows yes you can add nutrients to base and you can add strings but it’s not needed wets the felt bags nice plants love this but you must fill a lot trying to figure out how to make it work auto fill so , 4 pods drink 5 gallons water in 3 to 4 days then fill wait 4 days fill -good thing I can change nutrients and ph every 3 to 4 days not top watering this time plants better looking now -top watering was to much these water feeders work just fine you got to trust the system almost a year now and it works great with coco and perl light peet mose big difference from fox farm in bags and coco perl in bags for absorbing water -soil wicks slowly coco wicks water faster

Great with grow bags, finally some stress free watering!
I absolutely love them! I'm uing them with the Vivosun grow bags, and I bought another set as soon as I received and setup the first 4-Pack I purchased. They do sag a little in the middle with heavier plants, but no more than what the internal brace supports. If you are looking for a great way to keep your plants watered that is pretty much stress free, these work very well.

Vivosun in tha house!
I love these. Had to have the square ones but use round pots...don't ask... ;) You have to let the roots get established but when they start working they work great just don't go over a five gallon fabric pot for proper fit. I'm currently using 3 gallon. Vivosun will continue to get my business for the simple fact that they have proven to me that that customer satisfaction is a priority for them more than once. In addition to these I've purchased the 2x4x72 pro grow tent, 6 of their various circulation fans, two 6' inline fans with controllers across 3 tents, two A22 controllers, air pumps, water pumps and accessories, great coco coir bricks, the grow cam, and even rh humidity packs. Just now realizing how in I am with Vivosun. Send me some stickers or something already 😂. Back to the feeders.... the tactile satisfaction thats included in the fill lid design is to be experienced. You'll see what I mean. The one poorly designed part is the fill incicators that stick occasionally and stay in the back of my mind so minus one star for that only because that's the only gripe I have and a flick of the finger when near keeps it honest. I'd love so much to see Vivosun offer some upgraded indicators. A sensor to connect to the controllers via app to monitor water level, pH, temp, and PPM would be amazing . Hear me Vivosun.... Also recommend running an air stone to maintain water oxygenation as this dramatically improves uptake. I'm also working to incorporate the Vivosun flex feed drip system which is made for these it seems and will take your watering up another level. What's that, three levels.... I would recommend these and find them worth the investment simply for the time saved watering.

I absolutely love these bases! I’ve used the cheap ones to the AC self water bases and gotta give the win to Vivosun. The port that fills it has a removable grate where your ph/EC meter can very easily can be inserted. Other similar products require the whole top of the base to be removed. When you’re locked into a trellis/net deep in flower last thing I want is to disturb them. Buy these bases and thank me later! The sight glass is also fully functional and requires no tapping or jiggling to get a good reading. BTW until you use these you won’t believe how much water your plants actually consume. Truth is your prob under watering

A must for cloth pots
What a great idea! I love cloth pots and this product compliments them. It’s much easier to water now. The vivosun is sturdy and well made but the water meter is meh. It sticks often but a tap fixes it.

They work.
I bought these because I had surgery and couldn’t do anything lifting for a week. I watered my plants and then filled the reservoirs with water. I did not have to water for over a week. If the soil is dry and I fill up the reservoirs, they will go dry in 3 to 4 days and then I can go another day or two before filling up again. I do not recommend using these unless you have good ventilation because they will significantly raise your humidity. Also you have to replace the wicks after each cycle or put the old ones through the washing machine, it would be nice if they sold or told you where to get replacement wicks.

Pleasantly surprised
Pleasantly surprised. I tend to underwater my plants and this solves it. I can easily check how much water is left. Will buy again.
