Great value and fun to build together โ some parts could fit better
My son is thrilled with this toy. We had a great time assembling it togetherโthereโs a bit of complexity involved, but the included manual is detailed enough to guide you through each step. The robot performs the expected movements, and the remote control is both practical and intuitive to use. Some parts could fit a bit more snuglyโwhen handling the robot by hand, a few pieces come off easily. Thatโs the only downside. Overall, itโs a great toy for the priceโmuch more affordable than similar LEGO kits, and still very fun and educational.

Cool but not for 6+
I wanted a robotics kit that my 6 year old son could build by himself for Christmas. He went to a Lego robotics camp this past summer where he built a pretty simple moving Lego robot and really enjoyed it. I looked on Amazon for a long time for something that was age 6+ and also looked like a cool robot he would want but most robotics kits that fit the โlookโ he would want were age 8+. When I came across this one and saw the box said 6+, I thought, well maybe they somehow made it more simple. No, it was not. The way the age recommendation is written on the box, it is implied that a six-year-old or older could build it by themselves, but it should clarify that itโs safe for a six-year-old to play with after someone OLDER has built it. Thereโs no way my son couldโve built this by himself, he was able to help my husband build it together, but this should have been specified on the box as a 6+ child WITH adult. Also, my husband had an idea of how to make building this more enjoyable and I think the manufacturer should adopt this idea. Since there are four different variations of robots you can build, I understand itโs complicated in how to effectively organize the pieces, but if they simply numbered each of the small bags and included the bag number in which you could find this specific piece for this step of this variation in the instructions, it wouldโve made the building experience so much simpler and more enjoyable. They only labeled the two largest bags for building the primary robot on the box, but my son wanted the scorpion variation and this was much harder as we had to search for all the little pieces across all the little bags and there are a LOT of little pieces and bags. Overall, actually a pretty cool toy, good quality pieces, but be warned it is definitely for building with an adult or for an older kid like 8+ (like all the other robotics kits boxes that I saw). Docking one star for the โfalseโ advertising on age appropriateness.

Brilliant build
The funnest and coolest gift. Build your own robot and the kids thought it was hilarious while I was doing chores to drive it up behind me and surprise me. Very worth it. If you kid is younger they will need help building it

Lego-like robotic car
Hmmmmm... .. . Where do I start? We bought this robotic item for our 10yr old grandson who is a 'Lego-fanatic'! It took him less than 5min to decide he didn't like the gift, ie, the bags of parts were not paired well with the instruction booklet, which in & of itself was not very explanatory. Sooooo...I, his 74+yr old grandfather made him help 'me' assemble roughly half of one vehicle which took us half the day. Then...he was done! I plan on trying to complete the project at some time in the future, but it will happen without his assistance.

Great Learning Toy
This thing is so cool but takes FOREVER to put together. Not easy but a great challenge for learning minds. We did the scorpion version first and the legs do fall off if you try to go over any small bump. All that said my 7 year old is thrilled.
