I was looking for a small laptop to run Karaoke software at parties and other events. I looked at several different mini-PCs in the $300-$600 range, and decided to see if this one would fit my needs. Other machines were either too large, didn’t have a keyboard, or were too expensive. This machine looked like it was the perfect combination of features that I needed and the portability that I desired, at a great price point. This little laptop exceeded my expectations. While it has about the same footprint as my iPad Mini (though a bit thicker), it runs Windows 11 Pro with impressive stability. I purchased the model with 512GB storage, and with 12GB of RAM it handles everyday tasks like browsing, emails, and light work effortlessly. I found the 1280x800 display to be crisp and the touchscreen is responsive. The machine feels solid, durable, and well-built for such a compact device. The extra thickness is put to good use, providing a full size ethernet port and HDMI output in addition to the standard USB-C, USB-A, and headphone jacks. I have a Microsoft Surface Pro 11, and despite costing 2.5 times more it doesn’t have ethernet, HDMI, USB-A, or a headphone jack . The keyboard is understandably small, but it’s easy to adjust to, and the battery life is reliable enough for on‑the‑go use. I can slip it into my bag and work anywhere. While it’s not designed for heavy gaming or intensive video editing, it’s perfect as a travel companion or backup laptop — definitely worth a 5‑star rating. Performance has been consistently smooth. The N150 CPU paired with Windows 11 Pro handles multitasking well, whether I’m checking email, watching videos, or surfing the web. I haven’t had a chance yet to connect it to my karaoke setup, but I did connect my Sony XM6 headphones and listened to music for a few hours. As expected, the Bluetooth connection was flawless and the sound was immersive. The rotatable touchscreen is a standout feature — switching into tablet mode feels natural, and it’s ideal for jotting down quick notes or doing a quick drawing. I’ve also used the USB-C port to connect a 4k monitor, and this machine handled the dual displays without any issue. I was pleasantly surprised with the included extras – a stylus, USB Hub, HDMI cable, and even a Windows 11 Pro USB recovery drive. My Surface Pro 11 didn’t come with any of those, so these were a welcome bonus, saving me from extra purchases. For small business tasks, content work, or general portability, this mini laptop strikes the perfect balance of convenience, functionality, durability, and even good sound quality. Compact yet capable, it’s a solid choice for anyone needing a lightweight, reliable machine.

Previous Previous Title: "Great tool, but don't panic when the battery doesn't charge" An Update, about 5 days after the update immediately below this: Well, I clicked on "Leave seller feedback" after the crash occurred with the laptop. Within a day or two, Kootigers customer support got back to me, confirmed this was a fatal hardware and not a mere screen issue, and very quickly offered a replacement unit. We will see how it goes, I'll give the Mini Laptop the benefit of the doubt, and put back the 5 stars. I mean, I Loved the machine, and it was a disappointment to see it say bye-bye so quickly. Kootigers maybe not be highly visible outside of Amazon, but they ARE accessible if you click the right buttons and let them know what's happening. Update: It took a little more than 2 months, but it shut down on me while it was just sitting peacefully. ************ You can see the lights, power & hard drive & the top keys & caps lock & such. But nothing on the screen. All the standard advice is disconnect then hold the power key down, and then try to boot up again. No luck. The next troubleshooting advice is - 'if' the battery is removable, remove it then hold the power key for half a minute, etc. I don't believe the manual explains how to remove the battery. I don't even know how to get help on this. It's got loads of personal information, I don't want to send this out unattended. This is too bad, I really liked my little engine. *********** This is so convenient, and powerful. Unfortunately, it comes with only one power supply, basically a usb-c adapter. I made the mistake of thinking any usb-c cable or adapter would charge this thing. I was at a hotel, planning to vpn to the office the next day. But during the evening, I watched as the battery power slipped away, and no usb-c cable that was available made a difference. I had to leave early the next morning, in order to travel back home and log into the office. Because another reviewer mentioned that the original power supply was necessary, that was the first thing I tried when getting home. Sure enough, it started charging. I need to order several backups for this power supply, to leave one at home and keep one in a traveling bag. But Amazon doesn't list any replacements on the page. So I don't know who to contact. Other than that, this is a miracle computer. A terabyte with 12 gigs ram, that fits in pockets and bags smaller than a standard laptop bag, for a fraction of the price of desktops with similar features. I love this, and hope it lasts.

Solid 4 stars. Works just as a laptop should. The auto-rotate setting doesn't seem to work for me, which is annoying when wanting to flip the screen I have to go into settings to do so VS it automatically rotating when moving horizontal/vertical. I also didn't receive the HDMI in the box (read what's included in the product description) but did get the other listed items to be included. I've been using this mini laptop for a little over a week or 2 now and those are my only complaints.

The family wanted a new computer. So the seach was on and on and on. We have limited space and I already have a work station set up for me to work at night. Where to put another computer? What we needed was the smallest possible computer that'll do the job. Then I found the Ultra-Portable 8-Inch Laptop – Weighing just 1.72 lbs with a compact design. We just came back from vacation that involved flying on multiple planes. This compact mini laptop fit effortlessly into my daughter's backpack. It is perfect for travel. The impressive speed and connectivity made it easy for me to get some work done while on vacation. We all need legitimate processing power, you will be pleased with this option!! Travel meant the family in some tight sleeping spaces and this computer was so quiet. This meant the kids could continue to play on the computer and not wake the sleeping adults. With travel and so many planes, trains, and automobiles came kids dropping things, including this new computer. I had that terrible feeling in my stomach when I heard that first crash. I was expecting to see a crushed computer or at least a cracked screen. THE military-grade shock absorption really did the job and saved the PC! Back at home we still had the space problem. This PC provided enefits like saving space, reducing power consumption, and offering portability for setup in various locations. They are well-suited for everyday tasks, general productivity, and even light gaming, with powerful models capable of handling more demanding creative work. The family loves the PC and I love having my dining room table back! I was also very impressed with all the accessories that came with the computer.

Weighing practically nothing and slipping into a small sling bag, backpack pocket, or large jacket pocket, it is the ultimate "carry everywhere" PC. It is sturdy enough for kids and students, yet sleek and functional enough for professionals needing a field device or secondary travel laptop. Finding a backlighting feature on an ultra-compact keyboard is almost unheard of at this size. The keys are well-spaced considering the compact layout, and the backlight makes late-night typing, working in dim coffee shops, or studying in dark rooms completely effortless.

This mini laptop is very portable and lightweight, which makes it easy to carry anywhere. The touch screen is responsive and helps a lot for quick browsing, notes, and school work. It’s compact but still useful, and the backlit keyboard is a nice bonus. Great choice for travel or everyday use!

Parfait pour les déplacements et les vacances. Je ne m'ncombre plus de mon 15 pouces. Et c'est un vrai ordinateur avec un disque dur de bonne capacité, un port USBC, un port USB et un port HDMI. En plus, il est fourni un stylet tactile et un port multiple USBC. Franchement pratique. La qualité d'écran est optimale, et vous pouvez l'orienter dans tous les sens et le transformer en tablette. Le seul bémol réside dans le fait que le clavier comporte beaucoup de fonctions sur les touches. On finit par s'y repérer assez vite. Et le clavier est AZERTY. Je ne m'en sépare plus, et j'ai accès à mes infos en permanence. Parfait pour un usage nomade !

Dépasse largement mes attentes. Parfait pour du travail de bureau en déplacement. Plus puissant que ce à quoi je m’attendais, ne surchauffe pas malgré sa petite taille. Autonomie de la batterie 5 hrs d’autonomie avec Excel, Word et navigation web. Donc plus performant que ce à quoi je m’attendais!

1/ Certaines touches ont 4 ou 5 caractères : aucune explications comment accéder à certains caractères (avec Shift, Alt, AltGr, Ctrl, Fn ? !) 2 touches M, celle qui fonctionne est très mal placée bien décalées des autres lettres ! 2/ La mini notice explique uniquement comment manipuler l'écran en mode tablette, rien pour le stylet ni clavier ! ... 3/ Pas de clé USB de sauvegarde de Windows 11, pourtant visible dans la vidéo site vendeur et dans certains commentaires client, sauvegarde de W11 a faire donc soi-même 4/ Pas réussi à contacter le Vendeur dans un 1er temps puis arrangement OK 5/ Je garde le mini-PC qui n'est pas parfait (moi non plus), j'ai passé des heures à faire une notice clavier avec 4 couleurs pour les caractères avec "rien", Shift, AltGr, et Fn, certains signes non accessibles, voir photo !
