Holly stone hs360s
So I debated for a while as to which drone to buy. Iโm new to all of this and didnโt want to spend to much on a first drone. I kept getting drawn back to this hs360s and decided after a while to take the plunge! It arrived the next day after ordering it and I was keen to get started. I had read the set up was tricky but to be honest it was very straight forward and easy to follow. So far so good. The drone seems well built although I donโt have previous drones to compare it too. It also came with spare propellers which I didnโt expect. Then I tried to connect my iPhone 14 pro max. I thought it had connected and sent my drone up. No image on my phone! Yet the drone was flying well and very stable in a slight wind. The return home worked well but I was struggling with my phone. I tried my sons phone and it connected straight away hence the photo. After a few more test flights using my sons phone it was quite easy to get to grips with the drone and I have to say although the image is quite dark(it was late evening) the quality seems good. So back to my phone. Getting frustrated now as still no image. I contacted customer service and they were exceptionally quick to respond and tried everything for me but to no avail. Now this is where I feel a bit daft. I decided to look at my phones charger socketโฆit was full of dust and muck!!!! Once cleaned out hey presto connection straight away. By now though it was to dark to fly! Overall impressions a good little compact drone that seems well built. Image quality seems good and for the price Iโm happy with what I have got. Also comes with a camera protector and a handy case. Looking forward to a bit more air time tomorrow. I will update the post if anything changes but for me this is a great drone for the price.

An easy to use beginners drone with lots of features.
The great thing about the Holy Stone 360S is that it is so light and portable, and easy to use. It looks similar to most sub 250gram drones but at a fraction of the price. |It has good flight performance and an easy to use camera with point and shoot photos (JPEG format at 3840x2160px, which equates to an 8.3MP image) and 4k video. It really is one of the best drones and ideal for a beginner like me. Ready to use at daughters wedding next weekend. It has 3 speeds - sport - normal - camera mode (slow and smooth) The controls are not too sensitive which allows for more smooth complex manoeuvres while I'm learning how to fly. It has a return home feature which calms the nerves a wee bit when the battery is low. GPS works well, thankfully. The HS360S also offers useful features, which I've still to try like 'Follow Me' tracking my phone signal, 'Image Follow', where you can select the subject in the Fly app on your phone, as well as 'Spiral Up', and much more. Looking forwared to trying all these feature out in the coming week(s) :-)

This seems to be a quality item for its price .
This is the first time I've spent over ยฃ200 on a drone .I have a "non Holystone" drone which is about a year old but it seems to take off at times randomly and I really don't trust it ..This Holystone 360s has features that you see on models that are far more pricey . Because I have just received this ...I have only checked out its functions re its controller and the way it interfaces and reacts with the app so haven't tested it properly. If it works in a way I've seen on you tube reviews ...its going to be a winner for me .I did not have success with my Android phone re the app ..it would jump out of the app frequently however I tried out an older iPhone that initially looks good ...no random jumping out of the app .I will happily return to this review to inform how things go from here . ****** I have now had a chance and time to try the drone properly using it's GPS return to home ...I haven't tried any of the "follow me "..etc stuff on the app and being honest i haven't taken it off beginner mode .I am pleased to see that the return to home works well...that's important to me .As mentioned i have a cheaper ยฃ100 non holystone (sg107pro)GPS drone and it does some crazy movements off its own back to the point of being dangerous.I think this holystone drone is a pretty good purchase ...seems well made ...and holystone support seems pretty good. ******* It's now June 2026 and I still have this hs360s and find it was and is still a great purchase. It does sometimes toilet bowl and it can be a bit unsettling however when it has spooked me a bit and I begin to feel it is not responding properly I find that the RTH works well...I now have a DJI mini 3 alongside the HS360s and I have to admit that the stability of the DJI is incredibly good but I still am impressed with my HS360s considering it's about a 3rd of the price of the DJI . Definitely a good drone to get if you want a proper drone in the Sub 250g category.

good value - Easy to pilot
A while ago I decided to build a racing drone. I wanted something really fast. mmmm. It certainly was that, and some! The problem was, it was way beyond my ability to fly safely. I now have an expensive paperweight. The other week my brother in law demonstrated his DJI Mini to me. I was amazed at how controllable it was. Technology has certainly moved on. The problem is, the DJI is mega money for me. I decided to see what was around and as usual and like many others i'm sure, I read reviews and watched endless YT videos. I came across the Holystone HS360s. This drone seemed to have 80% of the DJI's ability at a fraction of the cost. Reviews have been very favourable. I decided to go for it and purchased one. I must say I am not disappointed. Its so easy to manage and pilot. It has more features than I will ever need and to be honest, at the moment it is still on beginners mode until I get more familiar with it. Video and pictures are fine. I flew it in windy conditions the other day just to test it out. It was still very stable and the return home function still landed it within 50cm of the take-off point. Highly recommended. BTW, this supersedes the HS360 (no 's'). This one is a major upgrade I understand.

Amazing value for money
I purchased this drone as a second drone, but it has rapidly become first choice. Itโs great, the camera is excellent and offers great flexibility, it has great features and is so easy to use. Personally I prefer the controls on screen, obviously using the sticks once the drone is in flight. The on screen take off & landing buttons and return to home are much easier in my opinion, although the facility to use the remote is there too. The bonus I have found with this drone as opposed to my previous is that the mobile phone is actually connected by physical cable as opposed to wifi. I always had a fear that Iโd lose contact with the drone using wifi, that fear has been removed. It seems very easy to fly, although Iโd perhaps not recommend this has a first drone, Holy Stone do a great range so thereโs plenty to choose from. The drone seems to be well made and is quite robust (although flying it into the apple tree wasnโt the best move, it did survive!). It comes complete protective case, and everything seems to be well cushioned. The only downside to this drone package is the battery life, 20 minutes flying time at a push and then you have to charge for a couple of hours; although this battery can be charged independently of the drone, an improvement on my other machines. Itโd be nice if this came with 2 batteries like some of the other Holy Stone drones. Would I recommend this drone? Yes!

Clunky, trips off, Poor controller battery
Looks nice, but the instructions are clunky, unable to get it out of GPS mode, anytime you press the button for two seconds the controller goes off. The connection takes forever. It connects on the controller but does not connect on the phone, The controller goes off when you click non power buttons, only way to connect to the app is via the controller, so the phone drains the battery of the controller. Very difficult to setup, not user friendly at all. Poor setup design and battery of the controller appears to drain but when you put it back up says there is battery, then goes to zero... It's just a terrible product for the price... Needs to be more intuitive and it is not.

Great entry level drone
The drone itself it very well put together and flies very well, the app for control is very easy to use and the camera is very good for the drone price range. I would definitely suggest getting a SD card as well as it saves to the SD in better quality. The controls for the camera movement take a bit of getting used to as the wheel on the back is quite sensitive but after a couple of flights my finger adjusted to the sensitivity and have been able to adjust with better control. Although this isn't a water rated drone, I did get caught out in a sun shower and was able to get the drone back to me to be dried off and packed up without any issues. The carry case is of fantastic quality and like others I received my free battery from the free gift section of the flight app. There was a slight wait on the battery being made available but that was no issue for me having to wait for a free item. The carry box also has a space for the second battery. I personally don't use the drone for anything other than recreational flying so it is a great job for me. If I was to branch into more commercial work I would probably look at one of the other more expensive holy stone range with a 3 axis gimbal to keep the camera steady during flight and movement but as I said, I am a recreational flyer so this lower price range drone is perfect for me.

Great if no wind
Generally speaking we are both DJI fans and both have a drone for photography I was very interested in trying one of these cheaper models as a back up This HS360S is an upgraded model and looks very professional. The drone and controller are both well made and within the parameters for flying without a licence. Although, in the UK it must be registered. For the money, it is a great kit with spare propellers and battery included. The 4k camera is ok for video but really doesn't shoot fast enough fps for 4k and is really better as a 2.5k Video looks good on a laptop but struggles on a large tv screen Photos are good. Decent quality and the whole system is easy to use and to follow using the Holy Stone App on the phone. It has the usual 'return to home' and 3 speeds. My one real dislike of this drone is the lack of stabilisers and so, in a the lightest of wind, it struggles badly. Video will be jumpy and the drone battles to follow the RC instructions. On a calm day, it works well and is responsive Since we don't get a lot of calm windless days here in the UK, I returned it

Best drone for the money! Charge up and go!
I have had this drone for about 2 weeks now and it's been a complete joy to own. The drone comes with everything you need to get started and it's packaged very nicely. Pop the 2 batteries on the charger, let them charge for a few hours, then you are ready to take to the skies. The camera quality is actually better than I expected but note that the photos/video that are saved to the class 10 SD card (not included and make sure it's class 10) are much better than what saves to your phone. I have flown this drone on windy fall days and it holds its own provided you have a good GPS lock. On a day with no breeze, it's a much better flight and really handles well. My wife is not a tech fan and hates most "fringe" purchases like this but she was actually impressed and thinks the drone is neat. She asked me to take it on a bike outing and wanted some sky shots of the city and surroundings. We can't wait to take this camping with us. Most of the other reviews here do a great job outlining the drones pros and cons but one thing that you won't hear is how durable this drone is. During an exceptionally windy day, the drone caught the wind and smacked right into a tree. I figured the little bugger was a goner but nope. I ran over to the tree, picked it up and it was as good as new. Sure, there were a few scuffs on the blades, but it comes with a backup set. I was actually shocked that none of them were severely damaged and I was actually able to keep flying that same day. Oh and on top of that, I contacted Holy Stone about another set of replacement blades and they offered me a free set, just because. If that's not customer service, what is. At the end of the day I highly recommend this drone as a first or second drone. It's actually my 4th full size (non-micro) drone and currently my favorite. I say that it's a starter because once you get comfortable with flying you usually want something with pro-level photography and usually end up spending 3-4 times as much as this. That aside, this is still a fun drone to toss in a bag and take to the skies and you'd be hard pressed to find anything better for the money.

Excellent choice for a beginner's first drone
When shopping for my first drone, I was looking for something that wasn't too expensive (anticipating losing or crashing it), something that was easy for a beginner to fly, and a model that had most of the features I would look for if I were buying something more high-end (so that I would have a good sense of what you could do with a drone). I found all those requirements met by the HS510. Holy Stone models appeared on several 'drones for beginners' lists, and reviews of Holy Stone models were generally good or excellent. I did a feature comparison across the Holy Stone line and settled on the HS510 over a couple other models partly due to it's small size. And I've not been disappointed - it's solidly built and very easy to fly right out of the gate. The pairing and calibration processes are straightforward so the drone is quickly ready to fly, and inclusion of two batteries gives me about 30 min of flying time (15 min each) before having to head home and re-charge. But most importantly, it is easy for a beginner to fly. I started off slowly, just taking off and landing, then slowly increased the complexity of my flights. I've now had it about a week and have been able to take it out to fly four times now, getting more confident - and trying out more features like 'point of interest' - with each flight. So far so good, and I'm having a great time learning to fly the HS510. And when the time comes to move up to something more high-end, I'll start by taking a good look at the other Holy Stone models.

Sorry for the rambling, but I do love this drone
This is my second drone, my first being a Mavic Mini 2 and think that it is much easier to use, set up and fly. I wanted a second one to travel with and this Holy Stone seemed check all the boxes that the Mavic Mini did with a couple of added features that I was excited about like the follow me and way point flying. On top of those two advantages, it was a fraction of the price and I could get two of these for the price of the Mini so I was way more comfortable to take it on the plane with me. First flight was a real learning curve because of the large differences between what I have gotten used to and this Holy Stone. It was not quite as easy to fly straight out of the box as the Mini, but with some time it proves to be a very responsive and amazing drone (definitely recommend starting in a much more open area than my yard and a much calmer day, I have way too many trees and winds were gusty up to 20 mph keeping me from flying too hi. First time I went above the trees, the drone started to drift away and took a bit to fly back, live and learn). It also proved its durability when it bounced off the side of my house while I was playing with the headless setting. Slight scratch, but fired right back up and flew with out any issues at all (I do not at all recommend testing this, just use me as an example that it is not always the end of the world when crash landing at low altitudes). Overall, I am very satisfied with this drone and cannot wait to get some amazing footage on my vacations with this. I would not be able to comfortably say it is great for beginners or easy to use sine I started with the Mini2, but at the price, it is a great one to try if interested. The remote is so much more satisfying than the Mini comes with though due to its size and dedicated status screen and I love the ability to control the drone with just my phone giving me the ability to hit the road for a day shoot with just the drone, extra battery and my phone. That alone makes this my go to for a minimalistic choice for some rides. Way to go Holy Stone.

A great drone for beginners with great customer service
I almost placed my order for DJI mavic mini, later cancelled and decided to try this one. I can say that I am pleased with the drone with this price. Runtime is more than enough for occasional flyers. The batteries can be left for charging together so no worries for switching. Camera quality is good. Takes clear photographs. You can see in the photo as the shingle are nice and crisp. The video is bit shaky while moving and not as smooth as DJI but again I am not doing professional videography so I get what I want. Overall I like the video. Its easy to handle. If getting good gps singal without much wind, it stay in the same spot even in little bit of wind Have solid build as I dropped it twice from ~10ft and still flying like the same. Also, FREE CARRY BAG. Last but not the least customer service, I am very happy with them as I had a problem with my initial order. Contacted cs with problem and video of the problem and they were able to get the replacement delivered in two days. Way to go Holy Stone. I would recommend this drone for anyone who is trying their hands on drone and want a good quality. I saved some bucks and I am happy with overall quality.

Great photos... Ok videos... but super fun to fly! Unfortunately, it has been discontinued. :-(
Ok, so first off, I would like to send a special thank you to Holystone! They have the best Tech support bar non! This drone is easy to fly so long as you know what to do before you even try to fly it. Calibrate, calibrate, calibrate!!! Yes, you have to calibrate the gyroscope before you even think about sending it up in the air! Also check the screws on the props before you send it up in the air! Also, once you get great at flying it you might want to put some loctite on the prop screws but not needed as long as you check the screws on a regular basis. This drone is FAST! so fly it with caution in an open area until you get used to how it handles! Drones DO NOT have breaks so slow down when you get near anything and you will be just fine! Remember that this a sport drone first with some powerful motors on it and a photo/video drone second. The GPS works great as does the return home function as long as you set up the return home height correctly in settings!!! I bought the drone mainly for taking some pictures of the area that I live in Colombia South America which I have posted some with this review for you to enjoy. I do Highly recommend this drone and Holystone as a manufacture to buy from as their support is what will keep me coming back for future drone purchases! 4/23/2023 Update! So according to Doris over at Holy Stone the Holy Stone HS510 Drone has been discontinued so you can no longer get the drone or parts for it. :-( Not sure why they decided to discontinue producing such a great drone, but they did. As far as new Blades are concerned you are going to have to buy MJX B7 Bugs 7 Quadcopter Blades and do some plastic pin popouts to just swap the Blades and not the entire propellers.
